This is the motivation for the lesson Poem recitation: Rolly/Polly Rolly /Polly using opposite words given in this poem start with up/down/ little x big, far x near Then use the words from the poem Opposites are war x peace, enemies x friends, gentle x harsh, light x dark, night x day, start x cease, ever x never Cards for opposites for matching followed by work sheet for testing. ACTIVITY II TLO: Team work to learn and speak about night scene.

2 Team work-speaking See the picture use clues : Picture of night scene, Sounds in the night, Weather cold, moon stars, black, lights, What do you do when it is dark? What can you see hear and feel during night? Who all are afraid of darkness? Why? owls, dogs barking, tick tock clock, street lights, people sleeping on pavements, insects noise, wall lizards sound etc. They talk about their fears We should never be afraid of darkness. Night animals video ACTIVITY III TLO: Read to pick out rhyming words Wind On The Hill By A. A. Milne No one can tell me, Nobody knows, Where the wind comes from, Where the wind goes. It's flying from somewhere As fast as it can, I couldn't keep up with it, Not if I ran. But if I stopped holding The string of my kite, It would blow with the wind For a day and a night. And then when I found it, Wherever it blew, I should know that the wind Had been going there too. So then I could tell them Where the wind goes But where the wind comes from Nobody knows.
