Students will create a digital comic strip [6 frames/slides] based on characters from the given selection of books. Charlotte s Web by E.B. White Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll Harry Potter & The Philosopher s Stone by J.K. Rowling The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien 2. The comic strip should have a visual representation along with captions/thought bubbles/call outs/dialogue. 3. The situation will be provided to the teams on the spot. 4. Round II: The top eight teams will face three rounds of questions. The top four teams will move to the Final round. Final Round: The Rapid Fire Round will decide the winner! Teams shall be given the proverb on the spot on which they will prepare a short skit. 2. Teams will be given 30 minutes to prepare before the event begins. 3. 4 EVENTH H: INTERPRETATIONS (Performance Poetry) Eligibility : Class IX & X No of Participants : 2 Duration : 3 minutes (on and off stage) 1. One participant will recite a poem on any one of the given themes and the other participant will present an artistic rendition or performance of that poem. a) Nature b) Dreams c) Light 2. The selected poem in English has to relate to the theme and may be selected from any genre or period of literature. 3. Self-composed poems will not be permitted. 4. Of the two participants, one will recite the poem while the other will perform i.e., dance, paint, etc. 5. Props or PowerPoint presentations will not be permitted. 6. Exceeding the time limit shall invite negative marking. Teams will be judged on the following parameters: a. Relevance to the theme (10 marks) b. Voice and articulation (10 marks) c.
