Memories all the gray you turned into colors...

Beckie Loudermilk Hicks Chuck Jr, I never have met you however I did see your mom and dad once before you were born. The last time I saw your dad he was so happy, grinning from ear to ear, telling me about his new family and how excited he was to have you coming soon! I had just had my little boy and your dad said "Can you believe it, I'm going to have a son, too". The smile on his face was awesome. Your dad was so heartwarming, funny and sincere. I treasured our friendship because I could rely on him to lend an ear and have kind words when I needed them. One memory stands out above the rest, in 1996 I needed a friend to talk to. So I went to your dad's house in Del City, he was there with Aaron and Jerry and somehow we decided that the stars would be so bright that night that we really needed to see them so we climbed onto the roof of that house (I'm not suggesting you copy this at all) and laid down and stared at the stars and talked about life. There was never a dull moment but we shared peace too. There is a great man in you as there was in your dad!! God Bless you and your mom and your family!!! Aunt Sheila Chuck... I know you have seen the face of Jesus..how precious is that... but I am also saddened because your mom misses you so very much. I want you to know that you blessed my life... I SO remember your laughter and your light hearted spirit... Your mom has the heart of David.. she loves the Lord with all her heart, and I know she is rejoicing in her soul and spirit for the day that she will be reunited with you in Heaven. Someday, someday soon... we will all be in Heaven and I will see you once again. I'm envious... you are in perfect peace and are walking the streets of Gold.. and have actually seen the face of Jesus... Love and miss you... Sheila :) tina searcy I have so many memories of your dad. He was an amazing man. Always playing pranks and always making you laugh. My best memory was when I was in texas and couldn't come home for christmas so my

mom taped the family gathering for me and I was so sad and crying while watching the tape when your dad came on and had just passed gas and someone told him that was on there being taped your dad looked in the camera and said well sorry that one was just for you tina. I made me feel like I was there Keldon Whittington This memory is written by Grandma Cheryl, but is a story about Keldon Whittington and Chuck Price Jr. When the boys were around 2 & 6, it was thundering really loud and Chuck Jr. was afraid and Keldon told him not to be afraid of the thunder it was just his Daddy up in Heaven bowling. I love this story and the sweetness of a big brother comforting his little brother in the absence of his Daddy. Bonnie Robinson Our family is a very close family and I give all the glory to the Lord. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. I wanted to write something special about one of my grandchildren. I prayed and ask the Lord to help me put down the right words. I have a lot of good memories of Chuck Price over the years. I would like to share a few of my happy memories. The family was over to my mother's house. Mother was sitting on the couch, Chuck was laying below her legs. Mother was telling us her knee and arthritis was giving her trouble. Chuck laid there listening, then he jumped up and pulled Mother's dress up and said, "I believe I better check that arthritis out." My Mother's face got real red and all we could do was laugh. He wasn't very old. Chuck

was a good boy, gave his life to the Lord. Then in his teen years he grew away from the Lord. Always loved the Lord, just wanted to do his own thing. Chuck would always call me and say, "Grandma guess what? Then he would tell me his important news.. When he met Tami, yeah that's right he called Grandma!!! Chuck called early one morning just so excited and full of joy. "Grandma" "I talked to the Pastor and I dedicated my life back to the Lord" We both were so happy, we cried and talked for a long time. Chuck and Tami were married and had a short but happy life together.. One morning the Lord called Chuck home. It still saddens me, but I do have peace of mind. I know Chuck is in Heaven and soon very soon, we will have a big Family Reunion and we will get to see all our loved ones. Chuck will be there and say, "Grandma, Grandma, guess what?" I read this in the paper and I would like to insert it right here. I hope it will move a great many readers to DO IT NOW, if you wait for tomorrow it may be too late. The time is now if you are going to love me, love me now, while I know the sweet and tender feelings which from true affection flows. Love me now while I am living do not wait until I am gone and then have it chiseled in marble sweet words on ice-cold stone. If you have tender thoughts of me please tell me now If you wait until I am sleeping never to awaken there will be death between us and I won't hear you then. So if you love me, even a little bit let me know it while I'm living so I can treasure it. Bonnie Robinson passed away on February 19th, 2004 John Caldwell November 30, 1998 Dear Chuck Jr., I met your Dad at Carl Albert Jr. High in the 8th grade. We played on the football team together. We remained friends throughout high school and graduated together in Our friendship grew even stronger after graduation. We have shared many memories over the last twelve years. I can remember many good times shared at Grand Lake, riding sea-doos, fishing, going out on the boat, and horsing around. I have a lot of memories of when we lived in the two bedroom apartment with John Curtis and John Bynum. Needless to say, we were not the cleanest bunch to live with! WE had many late nights of poker, volleyball, and loud music. I can vividly remember a time when your Mom and Dad came to our house in Miami. Chuck and I stayed up half the night playing pool and talking about the future. He talked about being your Daddy and how excited and happy he was. Your Mom and Dad also drove three hours to surprise us at our Halloween party in 1997, in costume and all! Your Dad always had the amazing ability to make everyone laugh. Jamie, Angie, Stephanie, your

Mom and Dad, and I went out after your Mom and Dad got married. I can remember sitting at the table laughing so hard we had tears! And of course everyone was looking at us! We always had a great time together. Your Dad and I were like brothers. Stephanie, Cole, Blake, and I feel honored to be a part of his life. Love, John Caldwell Cheryl Trindle ( Your Momma) My pain now seems more like an enveloping mist of sadness that mingles with the joys of life. A part of me has been wrenched, ripped, and torn away from me. I feel the emptiness, the longing to touch, hear, and feel the love of my son that was swept away so quickly. I am an earthly mother. My cry is a mothers cry. Mary understood the pain of losing a child. She was told by the prophet Simeon, "A sword will pierce through your soul." As a mother who has lost her son, I have felt that sword many times. I believe losing Chuck is intricately woven into my sense of having lost part of myself, as well as part of my motherhood, part of my self-image, part of my self-identity. It is not true that we come into this world alone, and we leave this world alone. Chuck you came into this world attached to me, and you left this world attached to my heart; so it stands to reason when you died, I was forced to come to grips with my own identity. It seems so long ago, but yet still so fresh... The tears come less now, the pain is ongoing. The longing is sometimes overwhelming. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of a shadow when I am alone and for just a moment I think; Could it be? Is the spiritual realm so close that we could actually enter in for just a moment or is this just the foolishness of a mother that yearns to see her child? The questions still go unanswered and for now I have settled those questions, knowing that there are just things that I am not allowed to know and perhaps someday when I go home I will have the answers; or perhaps at that time it won't matter anymore. I love you my precious son and I miss you more with each passing day. Love Your Momma Grandpa Robinson

The day your daddy died was the worst day of my life until Chuck s Grandma died which was much harder to accept only because his Grandmother and I had been together 59 years during courtship and marriage. I have many fond memories of Chuck when he was growing up, especially his high school years. Mom and I had a 28-foot cabin cruiser at Draper Lake and Chuck, his Mom; Bradley, his Grandma, Uncle Robby and I would go water skiing during the summer months. We had lots of fun and that old boat would pull four skiers at a time. That was in Chuck graduated High School in 1991 and enlisted in the Army. When he graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in August 1991, Chucks Mom, Steve, Grandma and I went to the graduation. We really enjoyed that. Then Chuck went to Lowry AFB in Denver for schooling. While he was there, Grandma and I went to Montana and on the way we stopped in Denver and spent two days there with Chuck. We got to go in his barracks and visit with him. We also went to Rocky Mountain National Park while we were there. We were very fortunate that Chuck was able to go with us. I think of Chuck often and miss him so much, but little Chuck kind of eases that, he is so much like his Daddy. I miss you Chuck See You Soon Grandpa Robinson Vicki Ridgel The only thing I can remember is the Christmas that he rededicated his life after Dennis gave the devotion. Chuck, Leroyce and I all rededicated our life. Chuck started laughing cause he had a frog in his britches ( he farted). I don't remember what year it was. I think somewhere around Love, Aunt Vicki Jan & Mark Caldwell Hey Chuck, Just wanted to tell you a little bit about my time knowing your Dad. I remember sitting on the front porch of the house where Papa Mark and I lived, on St. Paul about 1997 and your Dad told us he was going to make your Mom his wife within the year. We said okay. You see, they weren t really dating at the time. And by golly, he sure as heck did that. He loved your Mama so much and she loved him too. Your Mama told me she kind of had a

crush on him in school, but he never knew. Your Mama was kind of shy. What a caring, loving man he was. He was so kind to everyone and loving. He loved your Mom soooooo much. He was good to her and Keldon. He was also a clown. I see a lot of that in you. When he and your Mom got married we had a party for them. We just danced and ate cake and ice cream and had a great time. After the party, we all went to our house and brought home the food that was left over. Your Dad and Uncle Justin put black olives up their noses and started shooting them at each other. That was so funny. Now, you don t try that, you might get one stuck. When your Dad and Mom first got together, they lived in Bartlesville. That s kind of up by where Papa Donnie and Grandma Angela live. He worked on a golf course and I think your Mom helped sometimes. He was always working outside, because he loved the outdoors. I think Uncle Brad lived with them up there for awhile. That s when I first met your Uncle Brad. We used to go up to Papa Donnie s and ride the seadoos and ski and just have fun. Your Dad was just always clowning around. You re also a lot like him because he loved to fish like you do. He just got HAPPY when he got to go fishing. Just like you, he loved the outdoors. He was very helpful also. When they moved back to Del City, he would come over and help Papa Mark mow the yard, work on the house and lots of other things. When they came back from B-ville, as your Dad called it, your Mom became pregnant with you. Man, was your Dad ever excited. He was just HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY that he and your Mom were going to have a baby. And Keldon was glad too, that he was going to have a little brother. The day your Dad, Mom, Grandma Cheryl and I went to the hospital to see if you were going to be a boy or a girl, your Dad couldn t wait to see. When they said he and your Mom were going to have a boy, oh my goodness. He was so proud, he could hardly contain himself. We were all so happy, but your Dad was the happiest. He started calling everyone he knew telling them he and your Mom were going to have a baby boy. I don t recall ever seeing anyone so happy. I only knew your Dad for about 2 or 3 years, but what I knew of him, I loved. I loved him like a son and I miss him very much. But, I know he is in heaven and we all will get to see him again when God calls us home. I know your Dad watches over you and is very proud of you and how you re growing up. Chuckie, you re just as funny and loving as he was and I love you very much and am thankful that he left his legacy, which is you, my grandson, a part of your Dad. I love you as much as I love your Dad and your Mom and Keldon. Love you, Grandma Jan Roy & Betty

We really wasn't around Chuck that much. We spent a fourth of July at Donnies and he was there. I remember him being accident prone. He and (I don't remember who) ran head on into each other on the seadoos. Thank God no one was hurt. Then he was showing Brittani how to do flips and landed on his head. That one did hurt his neck. We loved Chuck. He was a lot of fun... Love, Roy & Betty Lana Robinson What I remember most about Chuck was his big sweet smile and big sparkly brown eyes. He was a very happy go -lucky little boy. He liked to go fishing in the pond almost every day. He had his fishing pole with him all the time. He grew up to be a wonderful young man and looked very handsome in his military uniform. He loved his family very much and was looking forward to being a daddy. I know he would be very proud of his son. Robby Robinson This letter was written for Chuck Jr. in memory of his Daddy Chuck Price. Little Chuck, Your father was a man who believed in God, Family and Country. He was totally committed to what ever he set out to do. He loved to have fun even if the joke was on him. I especially remember when he found out that he was going to be a daddy and that he was going to have a son (YOU) He was the happiest man on the face of this earth. Even before you where born he loved you with all his heart. Your daddy was a lot of fun. We used to go water skiing behind grandpa and grandma big boat. Your daddy was the one that made it even more fun

for the rest of us. If you did not watch out he would run right up next to the person skiing with him and splash them with a big ski full of water. Even when he was a little boy he was always full of fun and a lot of energy. You never knew what he was going to do next or what would come out of his mouth. He always made everyone around him laugh. I sang a song one time to your great grandpa Robinson. The name of it was I See My Father In Me. Now that I think about it YOU ARE A LOT LIKE YOUR FATHER. And I See Your Father In You! Love You, Uncle Robby

Life Story every hour, every thought, every smile...

February 26, 1972 Born in on February 26, February 26, 1972 How do I write your life story in such a small space. Even though you lived only 26 years, you lived life fuller than most people live for 75 years. Today my cousin Shelly Kaspirck and I were talking about you and I was telling her how you lived so many years in your 26 years and she said to me how wonderful it is that God gave you the ability to live life everyday to the fullest and the ability to impact so many lifes, and that made my heart so happy because I felt so sad because I felt you missed out of life.. No you did not miss out.. You lived a whole lifetime and you loved it... Thanks Shell... There are so many wonderful stories I could write about you, so I suppose I will begin with the day you were born. My labor started early in the morning, and I went to the hospital.. I was told to go home, that it would be several hours before you were going to make your entrance. And so it was true. Late that Saturday night almost Midnight you were born. Your Daddy was playing in his band so I was the first person you saw. Were you ever so beautiful.. Your hair dark as midnight, and all over your head. You were marvelous from the moment I laid eyes on you. We feel deeply in love, and I am still deeply in love with you... I miss you son. May 10, 1977

You were always such a little comedian almost from the time you could talk, you were making people laugh. That became your most precious feature.. Your ability to make people feel better. You had more friends than most people have in a long life. One particular story is the first day of school. Before you started to school you would hang out with your Pa Pa Robinson.. He would take days off from work at Tinker and the two of you would fish, or just hang out. He told you that he took off for "sick leave" You learned really quick what that meant. The first week of school you came home and told me that you did not have to go to school the rest of the week, and said that your teacher said for you to take 15 days sick leave. Hummm I wonder where you learned that from... January 1, 1982 You loved sports.. Any sports, but you were really good at track, football and baseball. You played football from the time you were in the 4th grade at school. You wrestled when you were just a little tike. And you did both well. You were the quarterback for your high school and I loved to go watch you play. You loved pole vautling and when you still in junior high school the high school would have you pole vault for them because you were so good. You were fearless... You were an amazing son, and I was always so proud of you. January 1, 1986 I really don't know the date you boys did this picture, but it was all your buddies, and you guys loaded up and went to Red Rock Canyon.. In this photo this is your rendention of

"Mount Rushmore".. You guys always had so much fun.. I sure I don't have a clue of all the oneriness you boys got into, but I know from some of what they tell me that you were the ring leader, and they just followed along. January 1, 1986 I wish I could of been a little mouse in your pocket because by the looks of some of the pictures your friends brought to me after you went to Heaven, it looks like you guys just had a blast. They tell me that you kept them laughing, and was always coming up with great ideas of things to go do. You always were so adventerous. I sure miss all those crazy days. July 17, 1998 I will never ever forget the day you called me and told me you were in love. You said you never knew loving some one would feel so right. I did not get the opportunity to get to know your Tami before you went to Heaven since you left us 2 months to the day after you were married, but over the 10 years you have been gone, Tami and I have built a beautiful relationship. I understand how you feel in love with her. We have had many wonderful years together, and I know she will always be in our life. She is a wonderful momma, and she still loves you and I think she always will. January 1, 2008

January 1, 2008 This is the most amazing thing.. My two Chucks... You and your son at the same age. You both have the same shaped head, both have the same tooth missing and you look alike. However the most amazing thing is he has so much of your personality.. Makes people laugh just like you did... He loves to hunt and fish, and he loves sports. You would be so proud because he requests at every sport he plays the number 10 because that was his Daddys football number. He wears the same 10 jersey, and so many times it seems as though I'm watching you all over again. When he gets old enough I will give him your #10 letter jacket. December 1, 2008 To My Dearest Family There are some things I would like to say, but first of all I want to let you all know that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from Heaven where I dwell with God above, where there is no more tears or sadness, there is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I am out of sight, remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you, when my life on Earth was through. God picked me up and hugged me and He said "I welcome you. It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone, as for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here so badly, as part of My big plan, there's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man." Then God gave me list of things, He wished for me to do and foremost on that list of mine, is to watch and care for you. And I will be beside you, every day and week and year and when you're sad, I'm standing there to wipe away the tear. And when you lie in bed at night, the days chores put to flight, God and I are closest to you on the middle of the night. When you think of my life on Earth, and all those loving years, because you're only human, they are

bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain, remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you of all that God has planned, but if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is o'er. I am closer to you now than I was before. And to my very many friends, trust God knows what is best. I'm still not far away from you. I'm just beyond the crest. There are rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb, but together we can do it, taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too, that as you give unto the world, so the world will give to you. If you can help somebody, who is in sorrow or in pain, then you can say to God at night, my day was not in vain. And now I am contented, that life it was worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody that is down and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go. When you are walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind. I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind. And when you feel the gentle breeze or the wind upon your face, that's me giving you a great big hug, or just a soft embrace. And when it's time for you to go from that body to be free, remember you're not going, you are coming here to me. And I will always love you from that land way up above. Will be in touch again.. P.S. God sends His love... Love Chuck Price February 26, 2009 What a wonderful gift from God... You have a little neice born on your birthday... Your brother Brad and his precious wife Sarah had a little girl. They named her Alyssa Payten Kimsey... She has black hair just like you did... She is beautiful and I know that you must of already met her before she was sent to our family.
