2 SYNOPSIS In a post-apocalyptic world where seemingly just men survived, once again, only the strong have the right to accomplish their will. Ruthlessly exercising their power against each other and their entourage there is a doctor, residing in an abandoned sanitarium, and there s his primitive opponent living from day to day. Amongst them yet doomed to solitude in this abandoned and isolated place wanders a dwarf. Only he knows, that hidden from the men across the riverbank on a lonesome island and deep in the woods lives a mother protecting her only child... When one day a self-proclaimed healer and his son trespass their sacred land on their way to the doctor s place to claim their right to govern, things start to take their fatal course. The men used to live without a thought for tomorrow tragically throw themselves and everyone involved in a vicious cycle of violence until there finally occurs new space for hope.

4 DIRECTOR LEONEL DIETSCHE Leonel Dietsche was born in Bochum in He studied Philosophy and Film Science at Freie Universität Berlin. In 2009 he began studying Directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. During his studies, he directed, produced and acted in several movies which where screened in different german TV stations like WDR, 3Sat and ZDF Neo as well as shown at Berlinale, Warsaw Film Festival and many more. Ende Neu is his first feature length movie as a director. 6 PRODUCER MARTIN ROHÈ Martin Rohé was born in Braunschweig, Germany in After finishing high school he worked for several public TV-stations and since 2009 he s been studying Film Production at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In 2015 his graduation project DR. ILLEGAL won several awards worldwide. The Cine Eagle in Gold, an audience award at DC Shorts and Best Director Award at JIFF. Martin Rohé won the Civis Media Prize and was nominated for the biggest German newcomer producers award: The NO FEAR award at First Steps. Since 2015 he worked for well known companies; UFA FICTION, INDEPENDENT ARTISTS, WELTKINO, NOVA ENTERTAINMENT and DIE NEUE BIOSKOP FILM. Martin Rohé is working in a managing position for NEUE BIOSKOP FILM in Leipzig, Germany. His first feature film ENDE NEU he produced with his former company PAXFILM. It will be premiered at the Filmfest Munich in 2018.

7 EXECUTIVE PRODUCER JULIA GOLEMBIOWSKI Julia Golembiowski started to gain practical experience in the film business directly after graduating from high school. Before starting her studies, she worked for Dr. Peter Wittig, Germany s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York City for six months. Julia Golembiowski has been studying Film Production at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg since The films she produced got screened worldiwde at well known festivals; Cannes Lions, Max Ophuels Preis, Hofer Filmtage FICG Guadalajara, New Horizons Wroclaw. For COUCHMOVIE, she received a special mention at the Production Award of Sehsüchte Festival; with her movie ANYWAYS - SPIELT KEINE ROLLE, she was nominatedfor the LOLA at Deutscher Kurzfilmpreis. Her first feature film MIL- LENNIALS premiered at 67. Berlinale. In 2017 she participate the producers Lab at German-Arab Film Prize of the Robert Bosch Foundation in Jordan, in the same year she started working for Detailfilm / Zentropa Berlin and produced STORY OF BERLIN. ENDE NEU was her graduation film.
