3 SHOOTS COMMERCIALS Ad Partners shot a 60-second active FL lifestyle commercial at various locations in downtown Safety Harbor for Optimum Health Care. Jordan Direct filmed talent dressed in slimming shirts running in Crest Lake Park for an infomercial. DOCUMENTARY T-Group Productions spent 60+ days in the area filming a new documentary series called Museum Men based on the work done at and starring the owner of Creative Arts Unlimited, Inc. in Pinellas Park. Tern Television Productions filmed an interview with a contributor, a static shot of the contributor on a motorbike, and b-roll for an episode of factual program One in a Million. PRINT Portrait Scene Photography shot family portrait sessions at Philippe Park and The Florida Botanical Gardens. LuisX-Com Studios shot swimsuit still photo sessions at Fort De Soto Park for multiple female clients. Joe Leone Photography took swimsuit and portrait photos at Fort De Soto Park. Visceral Image shot a family portrait session at Fort De Soto Park.

Rich Nation at Christian Network Television inquired about using A.L. Anderson County Park to film a fake fishing scene; permitted. Fielded inquiry from Kathy Douglas of Douglas Johns Studio regarding a location to build a nighttime campfire along the waterfront for a Publix gift cards photoshoot; shoot cancelled partly because of difficulty permitting during turtle nesting season. Fielded inquiry from Kenneth Wood regarding the process to insure and permit a clothing line photoshoot at Sawgrass Lake Park. Craig Richards inquired about a spring training baseball field w/lights and bleachers to use for a 6-week multimedia project to record every rule in the playbook. Sports Commission to follow up with Al Lang field and Jack Russell stadium. Received location lead from Susan Simms for the series Lone Target on the Discovery Channel. Producer is looking for a location in Louisiana, Mississippi and/or Florida and needs a variety of terrains in a very large area. Fielded inquiry from several photographers about permitting still photo shoots at The FL Botanical Gardens, Heritage Village and Fort De Soto park. Fielded inquiry from Fiona Mehrabany at Tern Television Productions regarding insurance and permitting requirements for various Clearwater locations permitted. Assisted Kevin Di Orssi with obtaining approval for a non-permitted family portrait session at Fort De Soto park. Fielded inquiry from producer Audrey Lorea who is working with NYC-based indie feature film 'Detours' regarding process to insure and permit a shoot on a private boat and a land shoot at Fort De Soto park; permitted park shoot. Area producer Ron Borders inquired about after-hours access to and use of a PCSO building to shoot a scene for a movie. Fielded inquiry from Bright House Media Strategies producer Sealii King about the steps involved in shooting a commercial along a beach at the north end of the Skyway. Jeff Maher inquired about permitting a photoshoot on a beach along the Skyway Bridge. FDOT needs to permit; Shoot cancelled due to insufficient time for processing. Fielded inquiry from freelancer David Fenster who is shooting a documentary about Alvar Nunez Cabeza De Vaca and wanted to know permitting requirements at Safety Harbor museum; shoot cancelled due to lack of insurance.

Met with Producers from Fairway Film Alliance regarding possible films for the area. Met with Producer Aaron Cooley regarding possible film for the area. Met with Publicist Paul Gendreau regarding promotion of Film Commission at LA based Sunscreen Film Festival. Met with Producer Stelio Savante regarding possible films for the area. Travelled to Toronto Film Festival, marketed and networked with multiple producers and filmmakers regarding possible films for the area. Met with Heather Tolrud regarding the benefits of advertising with WTSP. Coordinated VSPC representation at Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival launch party. Clarified nighttime filming restrictions during turtle nesting season with Pinellas County Parks and Conservation staff. Assisted location manager Andreas Zachai with scouting homes and answering questions prior to and during visit by A-list director Tim Burton. Assisted Michael Brown with logistical and permitting issues related to production of the Film Commission s promotional video. Coordinated George and Brad Takei s visit to the area including contract negotiation, itinerary, hotel/transportation arrangements, wardrobe, script, Q&A ticket sales and event preparation. Edited and distributed Film Commission newsletters. Prepared monthly report.
