1 Golden Globes 2019: The Full List Of Winners "We're alive," said a joyous Jeff Bridges as he accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award. "We can make a difference. We can turn this ship in the way we want to go, man! Tag, you're it!" Bridges was one of the many optimistic and inspirational winners at this year's Golden Globes. "I am going to use my platform to say right now that in the next two years, everything that I produce and I am making a vow and it's going to be tough to make sure that everything that I produce, that it's 50% women," said Regina King in her acceptance speech for If Beale Street Could Talk. "I just challenge anyone out there who is in a position of power, not just in our industry, in all industries, I challenge you to challenge yourselves and stand with us in solidarity and do the same." Co-hosted by Brooklyn Nine-Nine lead Andy Samberg and Killing Eve star (and winner) Sandra Oh, the ceremony was a far more celebratory evening than last year's. "I know when Andy and I were talking about the feeling that I really want to bring, and really focus on, is just to have a moment of joy, Oh said to the Associated Press. Green Book took home the most awards of the evening, winning three awards, including Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy). Vice had six nominations the highest of any film or show this year but only earned one Golden Globe for its leading actor Christian Bale. Biographical drama Bohemian Rhapsody nabbed the other Best Motion Picture award. As for the small screen, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story won Best Limited Series like its predecessor, The People vs. O.J. Simpson. The Kominsky Method, the Netflix series helmed by sitcom veteran Chuck, won Best Television Series (Musical Or Comedy). This is the first time Netflix has claimed that award; streaming competitor Amazon has won it three times previously. Acclaimed FX series The Americans finally won Best Drama Series for its sixth (and last) season. Below is the full list of nominees with winners in bold.
