4 catching your bus The main bus station is Liberation Station in St Helier but you can board our buses at any of the stops around the Island. As well as traditional bus stops marked with poles, there are also many stops around the Island identified by BUS painted in white on the road. At these stops, wave down the bus as it approaches. Your fare will be based on the distance of your journey and which fare band you are travelling in: Fare band A 1.20 Fare band B 1.70 young people s single journey fare It is free to travel on LibertyBus for children under 3 years.
