4 Download the PDF version Dear Public Service Director, For 70 years, Paralyzed Veterans of America (Paralyzed Veterans) has helped those who have served our country. Please join us in supporting our injured veterans by airing our latest public service announcement (PSA) campaign featuring award-winning film director, producer and actor Ben Affleck. In the PSAs titled Never Leave A Fallen Comrade Behind (:60, :30, :15), Ben Affleck pays tribute to the veterans who have returned home with devastating injuries after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. He discusses how Paralyzed Veterans works to ensure that our heroes receive the benefits, medical care, housing, job training and long-term assistance needed to rebuild their lives all at no cost to veterans. The PSAs titled Helping Veterans For Generations (:30, :15) feature Al Kovach, Jr. Navy SEAL and Sherman Gillums, Jr. U.S. Marine, both of whom are in leadership positions at Paralyzed Veterans of America. Through their association with the organization, both Mr. Kovach and Mr. Gillums have discovered new lives as veteran advocates. The PSAs illustrate how Paralyzed Veterans serves them and hundreds of thousands of veterans like them as partners for life, providing oneon-one support tailored to their individual needs, including healthcare advocacy, benefits support and career assistance. These PSAs emphasize the importance of never forgetting our country s heroes and encourage us to help those who have served. We hope you will air these PSAs as soon and as often as possible.
