3 Q1. How to reinstall software? A: Step1: Please check uninstall driver properly(please reference to manual). Step2: Then, please restart your operating system. Step3: Please note below steps when you re-install software Please note if you already install software as below, please close them before you install our software, or it will cause install improperly. 1.To avoid compatibility issues between many application(ex. Norton.), please close them before you install our software. 2. If you already install other video device (ex. Webcam ), they might have some shortcut in the take bar. Please close them as well before you install our software. 3. If you are playing some video or sound programs (ex. Beyond TV ), they might have some shortcut in the take bar. Please close them as well before you install our software. After check those steps, please reference to manual to install. 3

4 Q2. How to run the diagnose program? A: How to run GetSysInfo : Step1. Please click GetSysInfo to run it directly. : Before run GetSysInf, please plug your USB box into your computer and install the software. When you see picture as below, please press OK to continue run the diagnose program. Step2.Please close the window. 4

5 Step3. After you run the program, it will dump the system and multimedia information to a file under root of disk C:. Please attach SystemInfo.ini from disk c: to And please don't forget to describe question detaily. We appreciate you to help us understand situation after you test the product. A: When your windows operating system is FAT32, a file cannot store more than 4G. If your windows operating system is NTFS, it will not been limited. Q5. How to know what driver and application version we use? A: Please reference to Q2 to run the program, it will show you software version. 7

8 Q6. How to connect video camera composite output to this device? A: If you connect the extra video source (camera) to this device. You must connect the video output of camera to the DVB-S 100 via composite or S Video cable => If use S Video cable, you also need connect Audio output (video camera) <=> Audio input (line in / Mic of SOUND CARD) And Audio output (SOUND CARD) <=> SPEAKER. 8

9 Q7.When open operating system, it display IRQ error. A: Please check whether the other hardware has the same IRQ with the TV card. 9

10 You can change a PCI slot to re-install the TV card to solve the coexisted IRQ problem. 10

11 Q8. How to setup application? A: 1.You must connect the receive coaxial cable from satellite receive dish device to the input jack of the diseqc, then make the coaxial cable which from output jack to our DVBS satellite input jack. Please consult the above pictures. 2.The DVB-S 100 product can both support c or k band satellite. So whenever which one you choose, as only as the connection way is correct,you can use it to watch satellite channels.for example, if you have a Diseqc which has four jack. DisEqC When running STVR, you can move the cursor onto the display window or control panel and right-click the mouse for the menu to pop-up. This menu will also appear when you press the [F12] key on your keyboard.please choose "Setup". 11

13 You will find below picture, please select "Auto scan". You can double click on "Diseqc option" to select "4 port". 13

14 And double click on LNB1, LNB2, LNB3 and LNB4 to input your satellite setting. 14

15 Select "Satelite", "LNB Type" and don't forget turn on LNB power of satellite dish. LNB Type: 15

16 Universal (LOF: 9750MHz, HOF: 10600MHz, Switch Frequency: 11700MHz) Normal (User define his own LOF, HOF, and Switch Frequency) Signal Custom (Input LOF only) Dual Custom (User define his own LOF, HOF) Note: For information of Satelite and LNB settings, please check with your dish provider to get the correct information. Press "Next". 16

19 If still no signal strenght is detected, please press "Back" to below picture. See below link to input frequency and symbol rate and press "Next"=>"Start" to scan again. 19

20 Q9. How to change LNB settings? A: 1. Setup->Channel page, click `Auto scan' button or LNB button. 2. DVBS Satellite and Frequency Setup Wizard will pop up. 3. Double click the blue horizontal line of LNB1 4. LNB Setting LNB1 dialog will pop up, you can see LOF, HOF as you wish. 20

21 Q10. How to change frequency and symbol rate? A: 1. Setup -> Channel page, click `Auto scan' button or LNB button. 2. DVBS Satellite and Frequency Setup Wizard will pop up. 3. Click `Satellite Setup' button 4. Satellite Setup dialog will pop up. 5. Select your satellite. 6. Edit/Add/Delete all frequency list as you wish. 21

22 Q11. How to input the longitude 95.0 W for Galaxy 3C during setup LNB? A: We only take East longitude, actually user can add west longitude. Or, try to use East longitude = 360 West longitude to get East longitude in US satellite. 22
