All Gree exported DC inverter models use 15HZ G-matrick technology, the compressor can run stably at 15HZ. For competitors, this no. usually is 30HZ. 2. Gree G-matrick technology saves more energy. When room temperature achieve set point, the compressor will keep running at low frequency for most of the time. E.g. For 18K btu model, the power input under 15 HZ is around 200W, power input under 30HZ is 400W. After one month running, Gree 18K model will save 144 KWhr electricity. 3. 19 CLOCK, Time measurement of the machine is based on real time clock, you can set TIMER at the exact time which you want, this is quite different from the normal time countdown setting. For example, time right now is 9am, machine is on, then you can set 6 pm off, 8am on, then this machine will turn off at 6 pm, it will automatically turn on at next 8 am, if you didn t change TIMER setting, this machine will keep turning on at 8 am and off at 6 pm until you change the setting. LOCK, if you activate LOCK function, the keys of remote will be locked, it is same as keyboard LOCK function of mobile phone. LIGHT, press this button to turn indoor unit display on / off I FEEL, the RC will send tempreture info to IDU Every 10 minutes
