3 Why are the PM Early Chapters in a wide book format? When developing and levelling PM titles, adequate spacing between letters, words and lines, line breaks for fluency and phrasing, and font size are all carefully considered to ensure reading success. A narrower book format would compromise these important PM criteria.
4 The PM Early Chapters Activity Sheets on CD-ROM feature high-quality, levelled student activities. Each of the 30 PM Early Chapter Books is supported by five pages of activities linking to the following areas: writing, visual features, meaning, structure and cross-curricular.
