2 This production is dedicated in memory to our great friend Robert Gow Alan Ayckbourn is an Olivier and Tony Award winning playwright who has written 79 plays, more than half of which have been produced in London's West End as well as around the world. Major successes include: Relatively Speaking, How the Other Half Loves, Absurd Person Singular, Bedroom Farce, A Chorus of Disapproval and The Norman Conquests. In the past four years, there have been revivals of Season's Greetings and A Small Family Business at the National Theatre and in the West End productions of Absent Friends, A Chorus of Disapproval and Relatively Speaking. This year marks the 50th anniversary of his first West End production, Mr Whatnot.

Colin Robinson - Director Having directed a number of Australian plays - Hotel Sorrento,Day Light Saving, One Day of the Year - I decided to try the English Comedy Relatively Speaking by Alan Ayckbourn. I saw this play and immediately wanted to direct it and hope you get a night of light entertainment with this play. Sit back and start 2015 with a good laugh as the twists and turns of this wonderful comedy pan out. As with all plays, this is a team effort and with your continued support the A big thank you to the cast and crew for their hard work, especially Mark who has designed and built the set, also Barry for his lighting. I must say what a help my AD, Brad, has been. Again, thank you to you the audience, it is you that makes it all possible. Brad Wyeth - Asst. 4 The Cast (in order of appearance) Nathaniel Young - Greg Poynter Brisbane born, Nathaniel has always enjoyed preforming for his friends & family with Drama, Film & Television. In 2010 he commenced studying a Bachelor of Creative Arts at the University of Southern Queensland honing his skills as an actor & writer. He has been involved in shows such as Captain Pathos & his Army of Imaginary Friends, Away, All Sortz and Richard III. Relatively Speaking is Nathaniel s fourth show with STG, following his debut as Netley in our March 2014 production of Homes & the Ripper and followed this with Officer Crabtree in Allo Allo and Rusty Charlie in Guys and Dolls. He is particularly proud of achieving a trifecta of accents last year Cockney, fumbled Fench and New York. While he is a little disappointed that he is not running with an accent in Relatively Speaking, he knows that you will enjoy this very funny production.

Bianca Butler Reynolds - Ginny Whittaker Bianca first got involved with Sunnybank Theatre Group in 2012, playing devious au pair

She is delighted to be tramping the boards once again at STG and tramping is a fitting word in the role of Ginny Whittaker.

5 Bianca Butler Reynolds - Ginny Whittaker Bianca first got involved with Sunnybank Theatre Group in 2012, playing devious au pair Ruth Bechler in Suddenly At Home, and exasperated hotelier Mollie Ralston in The Mousetrap. She is delighted to be tramping the boards once again at STG and tramping is a fitting word in the role of Ginny Whittaker. Aside from her love of acting, Bianca is also an avid playwright. In 2010, she was a winner in Queensland Theatre Company s Young Playwrights Program, and participated in QTC s inaugural Youth Partners Residency. In 2012, her play Comedy, Comedy was shortlisted for Playwriting Australia s National Play Festival, and her play Gumpoldskirchen was staged by Underground Productions as part of Brisbane s 2013 Anywhere Theatre Festival. Bianca s short play How Long Have You Been Waiting? is currently being staged in the 2015 Short + Sweet Festival Sydney. In February this year, Bianca commences postgraduate studies in playwriting at QUT, exploring sibling relationships in Australian Gothic theatre.

6 Sally Jenkins - Sheila Carter This is Sally s first production with STG, having previously appeared in shows at Ipswich Little Theatre. She appeared as Vera in Stepping Out, Mindy in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and Olga in Roses are Red My Love. She is thrilled to be a part of this very funny production and relishes the subtle snobbishness of Sheila. Sally is sure that you will come to love the character as much as she has. Enjoy!

7 Chris O Leary - Phillip Carter 2015 marks Chris fifth year with STG. In those years he has played a congenial waiter in Good Business Sense; tricked his way to freedom in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; killed his wives, amongst others, in Suddenly at Home and Deathtrap; married the nun of his dreams in The Sound of Music and played the trifecta of Jewish characters in Little Shop of Horrors, A Few Good Men and Breaking Up is Hard to Do. Chris has covered many roles behind the scenes as well including lighting, sound, backstage, set design and marketing. He also co-directed the very successful 2014 production of Guys and Dolls, an experience he looks forward to repeating. Chris is excited to be taking to the stage again with such a talented cast and crew. Sit back, enjoy this wonderful comedy and laugh loudly... it makes us so happy when you do.

Crew Mark Westby - Production Design / Crew Mark joined STG as Franz, the butler, in The Sound of Music and continued in other productions such as Wait Until Dark, Guys and Dolls and A Few Good Men.

Loretta Donnelly - Props / Crew Loretta has been working in theatre, both backstage and onstage, in New Zealand, overseas and Brisbane for several years.

She first learnt backstage work at the Repertory Theatre in Christchurch where she also performed in The Same Old Moon and Habeous Corpus.

8 Crew Mark Westby - Production Design / Crew Mark joined STG as Franz, the butler, in The Sound of Music and continued in other productions such as Wait Until Dark, Guys and Dolls and A Few Good Men. He has also designed the productions of Holmes and the Ripper, Deathtrap and Guys and Dolls. Loretta Donnelly - Props / Crew Loretta has been working in theatre, both backstage and onstage, in New Zealand, overseas and Brisbane for several years. Among other places she has studied acting and theatre history at the Auckland Youth Theatre, the Christchurch Academy and the University of Canterbury. She first learnt backstage work at the Repertory Theatre in Christchurch where she also performed in The Same Old Moon and Habeous Corpus. She has performed in a wide variety of other plays and has been a Stage Manager, ASM or Props Coordinator and Assistant Director. She has directed three one act plays and Holmes and the Ripper for Sunnybank Theatre. She particularly enjoyed playing Frau Schmidt in their production of The Sound of Music in Barry DaSylva - Lighting Design Barry is a former committee member and past president of STG. He has performed on stage in many productions and more recently designed the lighting for Allo Allo and Guys and Dolls

She has appeared on stage in Deathtrap, Hat Tricks and. Dierdre has also directed many productions including Educating Rita, Same Time Next Year, Stepping Out and Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

9 Alan Howe - Lighting/Sound Alan is on his 3rd show at STG. He has assisted Barry, lighting and operating for Deathtrap, Allo Allo and Guys and Dolls Dierdre Robinson - Stage Crew Dierdre has been a member of STG for many years. She has appeared on stage in Deathtrap, Hat Tricks and. Dierdre has also directed many productions including Educating Rita, Same Time Next Year, Stepping Out and Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Dierdre will direct Barefoot in the Park this year. Joanne Sephton - Lighting Joanne appeared most recently in The Mikado and previously in The Sound of Music. She has designed and controlled the lighting for many productions including Suddenly at Home and A Few Good Men. Gerard Burges - Lighting Gerry has been a member of STG for many years, including being part of the management committee. Gerry has appeared on stage in Suddenly at Home, The Sound of Music and There s Always Spring as well as working backstage and lighting for many shows.
