FLOWER ELIXIRS FOR MORE JOY, LAUGHTER & FUN BY: LOTUSWEI
When was the last time you laughed until tears came streaming down your face? When we were kids, playing a simple game of hide-and-seek could fill a whole room with laughter! As we get older, so does our number of responsibilities. Life can become a routine schedule of what we have to do, with little time left for what we want to do, leaving us tired, overly-serious, and unfulfilled. Do you ever look at a playground and feel nostalgic for the play, laughter and freedom you see? If you think play is only for children, think again! The definition of play: engaging in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than for serious or practical purpose. The idea that play is only for kids is because their actions revolve solely around enjoyment and recreation. In fact, it s their number 1 priority! As adults, we lose sight of the importance of play. But it is vital! Play reduces stress, increases creativity, enhances your connection with others and leaves you with higher energy. The time to de-stress and tap into your inner child needs to be just as high a priority as meeting your important deadlines or making sure you have enough vegetables on your plate. Smiling alone has a major affect on our bodies, inside and out! Our moods and attitudes play off of our facial expressions, commonly referred to as mirroring. If someone approaches you with a sour face, full of frustration and anger, you will most likely walk The reality of today: Wall Street Journal reported in 2016 that 50% of workers in the U.S. reported being dissatisfied with their jobs. An American Sociological Association study shows that job-related dissatisfaction experienced in your 20s & 30s can lead to overall health issues just 10 or 20 years down the line: mental + emotional health problems, sleep issues and complications from excessive worry. Employees who report being happy at work take 10 times fewer sick days than unhappy employees!
Instrument of change. LOTUSWEI flower remedies have been an intensely powerful instument of change for me, pulling me out of a prolonged period of confusion and aimlessness following the birth of my daughter. Within a week of taking them, I began to feel a long-carried weight rising away. And that daughter? She asks for Joy Juice every day! - Abigail Brown, Mama. Singer. Green Beauty Blogger. away carrying those emotions on your shoulders. On the other hand, if you are approached with a smile, you are left with a light-hearted and blissful feeling! When we make a conscious choice to smile, positive neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin and endorphins are sent through the body, triggering euphoria, peace and a content state of mind. We pass that positivity to others, simply by smiling. Imagine the chain reaction ONE smile can create! Reconnecting to the joy you felt as a kid is totally possible - and we know just the flowers to help! African Daisy: Dissolves tension and seriousness. Finding our inner child becomes a breeze, causing our creativity and silliness thrive. Birdsfoot Lotus: Targets the root cause of worry, which allows us to work it out and experience a happy belly. Chocolate Daisy: Helps us untie knots and get unstuck from the paralysis or confusion of over-complication. Keeping things simple results in mental spaciousness that elicits spontaneity and joy. Pink Spirea: Heals the heart by stimulating laughter + lightheartedness, encouraging our inner child to come out and play! Combine these flowers, and within a short time your joy will flow wildly and you ll find yourself laughing more and making other people laugh! For more flowerific readings on the magic of flowers, we have a book! Check it out on Amazon today!

AFRICAN DAISY Osteospermum Activate: Playfulness Message: Be silly. What It Reveals If you re attracted to the African Daisy, you may have recently felt like you have a lot of responsibilities on your shoulders, and that you do not have time for fun. Just as the African Daisy guards its seeds when it doesn t have the right conditions, in the same way there may be aspects of you that have gone dormant and are waiting for when the conditions are right. You may feel too stressed for fun, or that there is too much at stake to be playful. This may be due to past grief, or simply a habit you have. Alternatively, pride may prevent you from experiencing the joy of playfulness, for fear of looking silly, being frivolous, or wasting time. What the Elixir Catalyzes The African Daisy flower elixir dissolves excessive seriousness when we find ourselves too busy or stressed for humor and play. It promotes joy and helps us understand that play is not frivolous but full of curiosity and wonder, which enlivens us and gives a fresh quality to everything we do.
It also helps us understand that joy is an important marker for creating the life we want to live. As a method for clarifying our life s path and purpose, if we move closer to what brings us joy, it often leads us to our special abilities, talents, or potential. Also, when we re able to laugh at ourselves, it takes the pressure off. We don t have to be perfect and superhuman. We can act with humility and humor, instead of being serious and aloof. Laughing and finding joy in everyday life encourages us to connect more deeply with people around us. Extra Credit Go to an amusement park and ride on the roller coaster or twisting teacups until you start to laugh uncontrollably. Head to an ice cream shop and get five scoops of fun flavors on a cone. Wear a funny wig and watch how it cheers people up. Watch a funny movie and laugh until all your muscles relax. In Essence Dissolves Excessive seriousness Pride Confusion about life purpose Magnifies Joy, playfulness & silliness Recognition of your talents & life s path

BIRDSFOOT LOTUS Lotus corniculatus Activate: Contentment Message: Take charge! What It Reveals If you are drawn to the Birdsfoot Lotus, you may either have a perpetual habit of worrying, or you ve been worrying about a particular issue lately. Since the stomach is the seat of worry, you may even be experiencing an uncomfortable case of the butterflies, frequent stomacheaches, or even acute or chronic digestive issues. What the Elixir Catalyzes The Birdsfoot Lotus flower elixir dissolves worry and stress or fearing the worst it helps you feel content and happy. You feel lighter and brighter, with more ease in life and more laughter. It inspires cheerfulness, expecting the best outcomes and a happy belly.
When you use the Birdsfoot Lotus elixir, you may notice yourself taking it easier and worrying less. You may suddenly hear the birds singing outside and feel like you re enjoying life more. It s a helpful elixir to have around when traveling. Extra Credit Make it a habit to expect the best. When you sense yourself starting to worry, take deep breaths & focus on the present moment. With a group of friends, share your most embarrassing moments or tell funny jokes to one another. Look up silly holidays and celebrate the one that makes you laugh! In Essence Dissolves Worry Fear for the worst Seriousness Magnifies Happy Belly Lightness Cheerfulness, laughter & ease

PINK SPIREA Spireaea douglasii Activate: Laughter Message: Let your inner child play. What It Reveals If you re drawn to Pink Spirea flower, you may be feeling a bit serious, down, or stressed. You may have a wrinkle between your eyebrows that will become permanent if you don t have some fun. The idea of play may seem superficial when there s so much work to be done and so many pressing things going on. You may find that you avoid or dislike the question, What do you do for fun? Alternatively, you may feel tired of the seriousness of life and wish for a little more fun. Your inner child wants to come out and play, but you may not know where to start. Or you may feel lonely and yearn for fun companionship. What the Elixir Catalyzes Pink Spirea heals old wounds of the heart and fills the heart with joy. It dissolves excessive seriousness and heaviness. It encourages our inner child to come out and play, stimulating laughter and lightheartedness. It dissolves burdens of the heart, enlivening us with a sense of freedom.
Laughter and play are important for creativity, productivity, and overall well-being. Laughter loosens up the body, releases endorphins, and helps us relax and recharge. Laughter heals our hearts. Extra Credit Surround yourself with colors, food, and music that bring you joy. Make a music playlist full of songs that you love that inspire you to sing and feel like doing a happy dance. Play with pets or kids. If you don t have any, go hang out with friends who have some. In Essence Dissolves Old wounds of the heart Sadness or loneliness Undervaluing or squelching your inner child Magnifies Joy, laughter, lightheartedness Permission for your inner child to play Feeling free, yet supported

CHOCOLATE DAISY Berlandiera lyrata Activate: Simplicity Message: Cheer up! What It Reveals If you re attracted to the Chocolate Daisy, you may be yearning for simplicity. You likely have a current project that feels complicated or overwhelming, or you may have too many choices to make all at once. When things are overcomplicated, you end up feeling confused and tied in knots unable to move or make clear decisions. When you do act, you may feel unsure or like you re wading in muddy waters. When there are too many details, you may go round and round in your head, mentally chewing on the options and outcomes. When you overthink things, you tend to get more and more serious, which makes you mentally cramped and less open to unexpected creative solutions. If that s the case, it s time to simplify. What the Elixir Catalyzes Chocolate Daisies untie mental knots and get us unstuck from the paralysis or confusion of overcomplication. They release tension from being entangled in messy situations or snagged in mental dilemmas.
Chocolate Daisies help us release doubts, apprehension, and hesitation, freeing up more space for joy and simplicity. Streamlining life keeps our focus on what s essential. Keeping things simple results in mental spaciousness that elicits spontaneity and joy. Extra Credit Tidy up your space to help your mind feel clearer and sharper. Limit your daily to-dos to three main priorities. Make Keep it simple your new mantra. Limit your s to five sentences or less. In Essence Dissolves Feeling like things are muddled or messy Tendency to overcomplicate things Magnifies Cheerfulness, lightheartedness Simplicity, ease of doing things Fun, laughter, energy
