1 The Bailey Theatre Technical Data The Bailey Theatre is a 100-year old vaudeville theatre that has been renovated and upgraded to a modern, multipurpose, live performance venue. Construction was completed in March The ticket office Tix on Main is accessible from Main Street in the Lobby of the Bailey Theatre and is open 9 5 weekdays and one hour before show times. Deliveries to the Theatre are to be made to the Loading Dock located at the rear of the building accessed from the lane between 49th Street and 50th Street. There is a buzzer at the door to let administration know you are there. It is recommended that deliveries and pick-ups be arranged in advance to ensure that someone is there to meet you. Should it be necessary for lighting or sound to be located in house, an additional 8 seat kill will be necessary to accommodate this requirement resulting in a seating total of 390. The flat floor allows a variety of seating arrangements, including dinner theater, theatre in the round, a thrust stage, dances and opera seating. There are two lockable private performer rooms and a washroom below the stage. There is a cross over corridor below the stage connecting SR and SL. The corridor below the stage is connected to dressing rooms, washrooms and the green room in the front of the building by a corridor under the auditorium. There is access to the ground floor exits from Upstage SR and SL. There is access to the stage apron from the auditorium SR and SL. 2

4 Support Areas: Male and Female Dressing rooms are available by arrangement with four makeup stations, a sink, three change cubicles and wardrobe racks. Two lockable dressing/change rooms under the stage are available. They are each furnished with one make-up station, one desk and chair, two side chairs, a 30 dia. Table, and a small sofa. Local telephone line, ethernet connection as well as wireless wi-fi are available in each room. A washroom is available under the stage accessible from the cross-over corridor. Men s and women s performers washrooms c/w shower are available adjacent to the Main Dressing Rooms. A Green Room with lounge chairs sink and coffee station is available. A coin operated vending machine is nearby. A lockable Laundry Room in the basement is available with washer, dryer, deep wash-sink, ironing board and iron, by arrangement. A 5-11 x 8-6 passenger elevator rated to 5,000 lbs (2,267kg) 100 f/s is available to move people and large items to and from the loading dock level and the basement storage areas. A catering kitchen is available by arrangement. A short list of pre-qualified local Caterers is available. Each Caterer has its own menu. The catering kitchen is equipped with a high-speed dishwasher, 6-burner commercial gas stove, counter and sink, movable work island, a walk-in cooler and ice machine. Food service by other than the pre-qualified caterers must be negotiated. The Bailey Bistro is a 40 person capacity sit-down lounge with a licensed bar that normally serves the patrons of our events. It can be rented separately for private functions. It has a private entrance from Main Street, a dedicated unisex washroom and access to the Loading Dock. A 19-0 x 36-0 Rehearsal Hall/Boardroom in the basement is available for rent. It has a private entrance from Main Street and a dedicated unisex washroom. It can be set up with tables and chairs or empty by arrangement. Loading Areas: Loading door: 8-0 w x10-0 h Loading Area: 14-3 x 15-2 Loading Bay: 30 max. length of vehicle. - Larger vehicles can unload from the lane to the loading dock. - Long items (more than 12 long) can be brought through the front doors directly into the auditorium. Rear of building access: two exit doors to the back lane cannot be opened from the lane side. They can be opened from inside for occasional access by arrangement. Parking: The Bailey Theatre is located on Main Street in downtown Camrose. Parking on Main Street is Maximum 2 hours. There is no parking on site. There is a Public parking lot 1 minute walk from the Front doors on the corner of 51 st St. and 51 st Ave. There is on street parking within a 3 minute walk of the Theatre. The Loading bay can accommodate a 25 RV with a 120v 30Amp Power hook-up overnight if arranged in advance with the Theatre Manager. 4
