3 B I O G R A P H Y Allwin is a Swedish band that was born out of an ambition to create an inspiring source of songs and music created from the roots between contemporary and traditional music. Allwin s songs has been described as a scenic route through cosmic avenues and landscape of everlasting love". Ove Jansson, the man behind Allwin is a songwriter/artist and after many lifetimes with various bands he decided to form his own project The music is a flowing stream of melodies with simple chords mixing with a feeling of hope and freedom. The lyrics have an atmospheric and often visionary way of expressing the universal movie on the screen. Basically acoustic and colored by electric and steel guitars, piano, double bass and various percussion. Allwin appeals to a wide variety of audiences and moves in several different musical genres such as americana, roots-country and rock. Allwin has accomplished numerous gigs, ranging from festivals, churches and private events My Old Mom was selected to the compilation album. Acoustic Autumn with various artist (Arcatone Music Group USA). Allwin was also invited to Tennessee and The Smokey Robinson Song contest festival 2014 but unfortunately the band could not participate. They played at Peace & Love festival Allwin produces all their music by themselves along with studio technician and producer Johan Nordin which has resulted in two full length albums in nearly three years of existence and the third on the way. Album cover is made by Ola Hoglund. Creative director Jesper Heed. Allwin has a warm, with an edgy feel to their Soul Rock/Rock Progression music feature with some awesome incredible musical arrangements, making a perfect for a Rock type themed TV/Film and Commercial Projects. Influences: Gram Parsons, David Bowie, Beatles, Emmylou Harris, ELO, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Neil Young, Amy Winehouse, Grandaddy and Mumford & Sons.
