The machine applies AC220V power supply with ground wire, which must be grounded. Touch the touch screen gently, and do not press it by hard matter. The cutter is sharp. Do not put your hand into it, to avoid incident. Please disconnect the power supply prior to maintenance of the machine. Please install the hood correctly for the operation of the machine. The place of cut may hurt your fingers. Do not put your fingers on the hood and the external place of cut during work. Press the emergency stop switch when it is necessary for adjustment. When it is really necessary for adjustment under energized, switch the cutter switch to OFF and start the adjustment. Switch off the power switch prior to maintenance. Install the hood after the work is completed. Install the hood prior to work, and start work after confirmed. There is a label at the edge of the power switch, which indicates the electric shock hazard. Both AC220V and DC24V may cause electric shock and result into injury. The device is non-watertight, and shall be protected from moisture. In addition, do not operate the machine with wet hand. Switch the power switch to OFF for adjustment of the machine. Section VIII Frequently Asked Questions and Trouble Shooting 14

If the continuous cutting positions are incorrect, firstly, confirm the product type actually used and the product type on the machine for same or not; secondly, confirm the height of the detecting device and the cut safe device for adjusting to the corresponding positions; finally, confirm the adjustment of the thickness sensor. If the cutter fails to cut off, you can adjust the fixed cutter to the moving cutter, or raise the moving cutter up. (Attentions shall be paid to the level and neat installation, as well as the filling of lubrication during maintenance.) If during operation, there is an alarm, it may be due to the following conditions: When there is a cutting alarm or only alarm without movement of the cutter, check the current length displayed on the screen and the real length for much difference (in normal conditions, an alarm will be triggered when the difference between the displayed length and the real length exceeds 5 mm). If it is the case, adjust the fiber optic amplifier. Legend D: Reverse power polarity protection diode Z D: Transient absorption zener diode Tr: NPN output transistor The general troubles for this optical fiber amplifier can be divided into two kinds: 18

1. The body is destroyed, and all indicator lights on the amplifier are off. At this time, by multimeter, measure the main supply voltage (wire No. 1 and 2) for within the rated voltage specification or the positive and negative electrodes for correct connection. 2. The sensitivity set value of the object to be detected is changed, so that it fails to trigger the signal, therefore, it must be taught again. Just set it according to the above-mentioned steps. 2. The material is cut due to blockage above the cutter edge. Possible cause: When the material drops down, the moving cutter has not return to its place, so that the material falls on above the cutter. Solution: Adjust the feeding plate, make the left feeding plate next to the left side, and move the right feeding plate to the left side as much as possible. In the middle, keep a gap about 3~6 mm more than the width of the material. 3. When the cutter cannot return to its place during operation or the place returned to is different each time, please check the electric eye SX670 at the edge of the cutter for normal operation. 4. If the cutter fails to cut the material, it can be adjusted. If the old cutter is seriously worn, it shall be changed. (A pair of cutter includes a fixed cutter and a moving cutter.) The method to change and adjust the cutter: 19

Step 1: Remove the fixing screw at the moving cutter side. Take down the moving cutter. Step 2: Remove 2 fixing screws at the fixed cutter, and take down the fixed cutter. Step 3: For installation of the cutter, firstly, install the fixed cutter, and after it is fixed, install the moving cutter. The fixed cutter shall be installed to exceed the fixed plate by 1-2 mm at the cutter edge, with the external side exceeding by more, so that make a slope. Do not tighten the screw on the moving cutter, and raise the cutter up as much as possible. If during tightening of the screw, the cutter fails to cut through somewhere, raise the cutter at that side as much as possible. 5. If the pull is normal but the cutter fails to work, and there is alarm when the manual cut is pressed, the 20

back cover shall be opened. Check the alarm contents displayed on the servo driver. Priority order Display Description 1 Over current 1 2 Over current 2 3 Over speed 4 Over voltage 5 Encoder abnormal 6 Control power source abnormal 7 Memory abnormal 8 Retrogradation crystal over heat 9 Encoder communication abnormal 10 CONT repeat 11 Over load 12 Under voltage 13 Regrogradation resistor over heat 14 Deviation over 15 Driver over heat The common alarms are Item 9 and 11. For Item 9, check the link wire from the servo motor to the servo driver for loosening, and try to pull and plug it again. For Item 11, check the cutter for serious worn, which may result into high load. If it is, the cutter needs to be changed. * The machine shall not be restarted immediately after powered off. It needs to wait for approx. 10 seconds. Otherwise, it may result into direct alarm of the servo driver. 6. If the pre-feed motor fails to work, check the connecting wire for loosening at first. And then, check the electric eye in the pre-feed bucket for normal operation. 21
