He immediatley started in high school and got his higher technical exam in 2009 and then joined the military as a private. DAIN is now studying at university and plans to graduate in 2014. He tells us: I m currently studying Global Management and Manufacturing (GMM). It is a management program with emphasis on global business development. With this degree I ll get technical knowledge and strengthen my international interpersonal skills. Moreover, I ll learn about management and economy combined with cultural understanding. DAIN final career goal is to become an engineer in global management and manufacturing. His native language is Danish and he also speaks English, Polish and German. DAIN has done voluntary work with children in a catholic assosiation and former jobs includes smaller part time jobs in supermarkets and the military. Bear Grylls, because I m interested in survival in the wild and extreme situations like he is. We also share a common interest of skydiving and paragliding and he is a really tough and brave man.

Q&A with DAIN Continued from previous page What were your childhood dreams? As a child I always wanted to be a paleontologist or archaeologist because I was very fascinated with dinosaurs. What is your goal in life? I would like to finish my education and find a nice job somewhere abroad for some years. Maybe I ll stay abroad and travel the world for a long time, but I ll definitely come back to Denmark later in life and hopefully find a wife and start my own family. Which values do you rank the highest? The most important thing for me is optimism and trying to enjoy life as much as possible. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? The best experiences as a child must have been with my grandfather who had a farm. I loved waking up early and help him and my grandmother taking care of all the animals. I was especially thrilled when I was driving around in the tractor with my grandfather out on the big open fields. Greatest experience or moment: When I finally reached Mt. Everest basecamp. Happiest experience or moment: When I once built a bicycle with a chainsaw engine on it and test drove it. Funniest experience or moment: Every time I m with my closest friends we laugh from the moment we wake up till we go to bed. Scariest experience or moment: When I was sledding and I knew I was going to crash into some trees. Proudest experience or moment: When I graduated high school. Greatest sorrow: When my grandmother died. Most dangerous experience or moment: When I skydived in Sydney, Australia. What is your favourite time of year? It might be a bit weird, but I like fall. It makes me think about all the good times throughout the summer months and the air just feels more fresh. What is your favourite movie? My favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption because of the actors and the great story. What is your favourite colour? Orange, because it reminds me of something very festive. What is your favourite animal? A dog, because it will always love yuo even if you are in a bad mood. What is your favourite food? The Polish cuisine in general has always been my favorite. What is your favourite pet? Again, a dog. What is your favourite car? Ford GT, because it is the perfect mix between old-school cars and modern design. What is your favourite music? Very mixed! Right now I prefer party music, it always gets me going.
