2 Q&A with VISTI VISTI answers questions about his life, experiences, and good memories Which words describe your personality? Sympathetic, a good friend and partner, intelligent, ambitious, sporty, passionate and engaging, calm but resolute and ambitious. Describe your strong sides: When I set myself a goal I usually reach it. I am generally very good at concentrating thus being a good learner. Socially I take care of the people around me and I take good care of myself. People say I am very empathetic, humorous, loving, passionate and full of energy. My ambitious and shrewd nature has always helped me stand out and I feel I have made an impression on many of the people I have been associated with. Describe your weak sides: I have a tendency to be shy and bad tempered. My naivety in trusting other people has sometimes let me down. Teachers, sports coaches and the like have always encouraged me to be more selfish but I m still young and learning so there s time for me to work on that. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average night? 7-8 hours. Do you eat healthy? Always. Do you smoke? No. Do you ride a bicycle? Often. How much alcohol do you drink on average per week? Very little, except for the occasional night out I drink one or two beers max. Religion: Atheist. What is your marital status? I have a girlfriend with whom I hope to spend the rest of my life with. Do you have any children? Yes, I have two girls. Both are healthy og beautiful. The oldest is tall for her age, has brown eyes, brown hair and a normal build. The youngest also has a normal build, blue eyes and brown hair. Which types of sport do you play or have played? I love soccer. It s a passionate sport that involves style and wit as well as physical capability. Also handball, basketball, softball. Which other types of sports are you interested in? I enjoy big sporting events such as the Olympics, the Superbowl and the Tour de France. List any other hobbies you may have or have had: Computer games, socializing with friends, music, films, reading. List which musical instruments you play or have played: I used to love playing electric guitar but other commitments such as friends, sports and especially school made it very difficult for me to find the time to continue playing. I have promised to myself, though, that as soon as I have established myself at my current education, I will pick up the guitar again. Which countries have you visited: Greece, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Spain, China, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Turkey. Describe the best holiday you have had: My first holiday without my parents (not that I do not enjoy their company) but with my girlfriend in Turkey. Lovely country where we really fell in love with each other. What do you like the most about your own country: It is a very peaceful country where people are generally feeling well. I am proud that we have such low social inequality even though it has worsened in recent years.
3 Q&A with VISTI - continued VISTI s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? It is probably a cliché but I look up to my mother. She came from nothing but now lives a very happy life. What are your goals in life? Simple: To have a loving family to come home to. That is the most important thing in life. What were your childhood dreams: To become a professional footballer. Unfortunately it stayed a dream. Which values do you rank the highest? Trust, ambition, altruism, dependability, kindness. What is your favourite colour? Red for passion. What is your favourite animal? Cat, they are funny animals. What is your favourite kind of food? Italian, love all of it. What is your favourite kind of music: Rock music, not in the soft category. What is your favourite kind of car: A red Ferrari. What is your favourite kind of pet: Cat, I had a cat as a child and I enjoyed my time with it. What is your favourite time of year: Summer, I love going out. What is your favourite book and/or author: I do not have a favourite book but I enjoy reading Jonathan Safran Foer, Paul Auster and Bill Bryson in particular. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? I can t think of one particular experience. What is your favourite movie and/or director: Favourite director is probably Tarantino but my favourite movie is The Matrix. It blew my mind when I watched it for the first time. Which was your greatest experience or moment? Becoming a father. Happiest: Becoming a father. Funniest: Watching the movie Anchorman with some friends. Scariest: Dreams of falling down. Proudest: Becoming a father. Most dangerous: Have to say I avoid danger the best I can. Once I nearly stepped in front of a train by accident. I heard a train was coming fast but I was sure it was on another track and I did not look up. Greatest sorrow: Losing a friend in high school in a car accident. He was way too young.
