GRADUATION SAYINGS Things to consider Your grad saying should capture your experiences during your three years of high school. They define who you are and the legacy you leave at Ainlay. Sayings can be quotes from someone or somewhere (public figures, movies, songs, etc.) OR they can be your own message or acknowledgements of others. Your grad saying/quotation MUST be no more than 100 characters. Characters include spaces, letters, and punctuation marks (periods, commas, apostrophes, etc.). There is no need to use quotation marks. Be sure that your spelling, punctuation, and capital letters are correct. Please, if possible, keep your saying in English. If other languages are used, restrict them to French, German, Spanish, or Japanese. Proofing takes time, especially with second languages. Each submission is proofread by Ainlay staff. Please ensure that material is appropriate; profanity, offensive language, and inappropriate references will not be tolerated. Staff will edit or eliminate inappropriate material. If your quote is not deemed appropriate it will not be included in the yearbook and we will NOT be contacting you to resubmit. It is recommended that you type your saying into a Word document and then copy and paste it into the online form to avoid spelling errors and incorrect submissions. You must have completed the online form by March 5, 2017 to guarantee that your Grad Saying will be in the yearbook. An email will be sent to your @share.epsb.ca email account with instructions. Your saying will be submitted electronically through the site indicated in the email. The name provided on this form is the one that you prefer to have on the composite, in the yearbook, in the program and on the commencement & award certificate(s). Graduation 2017 Page 6
