Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the audition time with a completed audition form. Dancers will remain in the holding room until the assigned audition time. Only dancers and staff are allowed inside of the audition. Proper dance attire is required: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, pointe shoes, jazz shoes, tap shoes, tennis shoes, hair in a bun with no bangs or jewelry. There are all styles of dance in this show. Please bring leggings or jazz pants to put on for the hip hop and jazz sections of the audition. Male dancers should wear black tights or jazz pants and a form-fitting white or black tank top or t-shirt. Shoe requirement is the same for boys except that they do not need pointe shoes. The cast will be posted no later than Aug. 17 at 5 p.m. on the Aurora Dance Arts webpage, AuroraGov.org/Dance. You will need to call the Dance Office at 303.326.8308 and confirm that you accept your part(s) by Aug. 23 and pay $60 for the performance fee. No information regarding cast placement will be given over the phone. If you are not able to commit to most rehearsals and ALL performances, please do not accept the part you are offered. You must be available for all rehearsals every weekend Aug. 25-Nov. 5. REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE Rehearsal schedule is dependent upon part(s) that you are assigned. Rehearsal times may change each month. Parents, please be prompt when picking students up from rehearsals.
