ISOBUS Retrofit Kit Ag Leader Technology Safety Notices CAUTION: Turn off machine and wait for all motion to stop before starting work. Set parking brake. CAUTION: Be sure to wear proper eye protection when using any power tools, such as when drilling any mounting holes. IMPORTANT: Check behind vehicle and implement panels for any wiring or controls that could be damaged when drilling any holes. IMPORTANT: Disconnect the Display, and ISOBUS components from electrical system when welding on equipment or jump starting unit to prevent component damage due to power surges or excessive current. IMPORTANT: If using a non Ag Leader GPS receiver, make sure to install a Null Modem Cable, included in the Display Kit, to prevent damage to the Display or GPS receiver. IMPORTANT: Use Dielectric grease to coat the seals and terminals of each connector that will be exposed to weather or chemicals as you plug them in. NOTE: Be sure to follow the alignment keys on the plugs and the receptacles carefully. Do not use excessive force when mating connectors. PN: 2006304 Rev. C November 2013 Page 5 of 10

Attach the square RAM Display Mount, PN: 4000280 to the back of the Display using four 6mm Phillips pan head screws and lock washers provided in the RAM Mount Kit. 2. Determine a mounting place for the Display that will be a convenient place for operation, but out of the operator s line of sight while driving equipment. 3. Take the RAM Base Mount, PN: 4000187, and use the 13/32 drill and self-tapping screws as needed to secure the Base Mount. 4. Use the 5 RAM Arm, PN: 4000279 to mount the Display. Cable (10FT) PN: 4002585-10 (1) ISOBUS Active Termination Cable PN: 4002587 Parts required for procedure: From Display Cable Kit- ISOBUS 4100842 (1) Display Cable- ISOBUS PN: 4002506-12 NOTE: Display Cable-ISOBUS, PN: 4002506-12 is required and replaces the standard display cable. Step-by-Step instructions for installing the ISOBUS Display Cable 1. If needed, remove the existing display if currently installed and replace with ISOBUS Display Cable, PN: 4002506-12 routing the connector bundle to the right side of the compartment as not to interfere with machine operation. 2. Feed the 28-pin AMP connector of ISOBUS Display Cable, PN: 4002506-12 to the back of the display. 3. Connect the 3 pin weather pack of the ISOBUS Display Cable, PN: 4002506-12 to 3 pin weather pack of Power Display/Guidance Cable, PN: 4002026-15. 4. Connect the 4 pin weather pack of the ISOBUS/Power Control Extension Cable, PN: 4002585-10 to the 4 pin weather pack of the ISOBUS Display Cable, PN: 4002506-12. 5. Connect the 4 pin Deutsch connector of the ISOBUS/Power Control Extension Cable, PN: 4002585-10 to the 4 pin Deutsch connector ISOBUS Tee of the ISOBUS Display Cable, PN: 4002506-12 and feed the ISOBUS/Power Control cable out the rear of cab. 6. Connect the ISOBUS Active Termination Cable, PN: 4002587 to the remaining 4 pin Deutsch connector of CAN B of the ISOBUS Display Cable, PN: 4002506-12. 7. Connect the round 28-pin connector on the Display Cable, to the connector labeled MAIN on the back of the display. Allow some slack in the Display Cable to allow for Display adjustment. Fabrication of additional mounting hardware may be necessary. Step-by-Step instructions for installing the ISOBUS IBBC/Power Relay Assembly, Battery Cables, and Power Control Extension Cable. 1. Locate a spot to install the ISOBUS IBBC/Power Control Relay Assembly, PN: 4002778 on the rear of the tractor using included 5/16 Self Tapping Screws or any 3/8" hardware and any additional mounting brackets necessary. 2. Before securing the IBBC/Power Control Relay Assembly to mounting location, first connect the ISOBUS Battery Cable, PN: 4002865-X to the power terminals of the IBBC/Power Control Relay Assembly and slide protective covers over terminals. BLACK (NEGATIVE) RED (POSITIVE) 3. Secure the IBBC/ Power Control Relay Assembly to desired location so that it does not impede tractor or implement functionality. PN: 2006304 Rev. Ag Leader Technology ISOBUS Retrofit Kit 4. Connect the 4 pin weather pack of the ISOBUS/Power Control Extension Cable, PN: 4002585-10 to the 4 pin weather pack on the CAN Power Relay Module of the IBBC/ Power Control Relay Assembly. 5. Connect the 4 pin Deutsch connector of the ISOBUS/Power Control Extension Cable, PN: 4002585-10 to the 4 pin receptacle on the back of the IBBC (Implement Bus Breakaway Connector) of the IBBC/ Power Control Relay Assembly. 6. Secure the Battery Cable and ISOBUS/Power Control Extension Cable to the housing with the provided Cable Clamps and 3/8" nuts and bolts. 7. Route the ISOBUS Battery Cable, PN: 4002865-X along the chassis to the battery away from heat sources and mechanical linkage, use provided cable ties to secure cable away from any moving parts. 8. Connect the Display Power Cable and the ISOBUS Battery Cable, PN: 4002865-X to the battery. 9. Installation of the ISOBUS Retrofit Kit has been completed. Setting Up the Display 1.
