Q&A with WILAND - continued WILAND s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? Well one of them is my dad. I admire him so much because of his unending motivation in his rehabilitation training. He was stuck to a wheelchair after a ski accident. But nowadays he is walking in the forests and doing everyday duties again. You can say he defeated his handicap. What are your goals in life? To make a difference in other people s lives in a good way. To see those people smile and enjoy their own life. To be able to help through my education and profession. What were your childhood dreams? To become a pilot and work in aviation. Scariest: I watched The Grudge 2 with friends at a friend s house. And my friend s dad decided to scare us... I remember we screamed like girls. Proudest: When I graduated from high school and all my friends arranged a secret garden party for me. Most dangerous: Probably when I parachuted in the military. Greatest sorrow: When I didn t know whether or not my father would survive because of his ski accident. What is your favourite colour? Blue. I find a blue suit very classy. What is your favourite animal? Dolphin. To watch them swim in the ocean and see the freedom. Which values do you rank the highest? Respect, integrity, loyalty, humility and gratitude. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? Probably when I didn t know if my father would survive because of his ski accident. I had to fly home by myself the same day the accident happened and my father was put into a coma. As I walked through the airport I felt great sorrow, but also a huge emptiness. I remember I watched the people and it all felt so surreal. It definitely set things in perspective and made me think about life and its values. Which was your greatest experience or moment? To know my dad s condition was safe. Happiest: As I travelled with my military friends in Egypt. We had a very funny and eventful trip. Funniest: In high school my friend once got up on the scene with other students. They had to do sex positions He was matched with the girl he kissed from the school party from the weekend before. As he lifted her up head down he had difficulties in holding her up and her trousers almost fell off. It was so hilarious to watch :-) What is your favourite kind of food? Lasagna. The tasty mix of flavours is delightful. What is your favourite kind of music? Pop and chill techno. I just like the vibes. What is your favourite kind of car? Volvo. The new stylish design with the Thor headlights looks awesome. And the cars is of very good quality. What is your favourite kind of pet? Dog. They are very loyal and their instinct toward human feelings is amazing. What is your favourite time of year? Spring. Because of the warmth and fresh green colours of the nature. What is your favourite book and/or author? J. K. Rowling with the Harry Potter series. I find the story very breathtaking and the fantasy universe is so well described you get the feeling of being in it. What is your favourite movie and/or director? Con Air from director Simon West.
