Type of the hot air Balloon: Manufacturer: TOMI AX-8 Bányászati Aknamélyítő Vállalat, Mecseki Körzet Textil Üzem This hot air balloon complies the requirements stated in BCAR 31 and manufactured according to Part 1., paragraph 2. of Temporary Regulation No. 7614/1977. VII. 30. issued by KPM Légügyi Főosztály (Ministry of Transport and Communication, Department of Air Transport) and appropriate Air Orders. 1. Envelope: TOMI category AX-8 Material: Grabolon alupigmented Polyester (Polyester 5772/1) MHS-5, MHS-12 strip, 10 mm Perlon lines, and different steel and aluminium parts. Construction: The envelope consist of 24 long sections (gores). Load carrying strips sewed along joint of sections. Sectional cross strips guaranteed higher safety. 2. Burner System: Dual PB-gas burner system used for heating and manoeuvring. The burner head connected by quick connection devices and flex hoses to gas cylinders. The system operable after leak tests. 3. Basket: Conventional basket used to accommodate the crew, gas-cylinders and other equipments. Basket Material: Wooden sandwich bottom plate. 21 EASA.SAS.BA.013 PÉCS (TOMI) Series Page 21 / 23 SECTION 2: None Airworthiness Directives SECTION 3: Occurrence Reporting The Specific Airworthiness Specification EASA.SAS.BA.013 may be used as a basis for the issue of a Restricted Certificate of Airworthiness in accordance with 21A.173(b)(2) under the following conditions: a) The holder of a Restricted Certificate of Airworthiness based on this Specific Airworthiness Specification EASA.SAS.BA.013 shall report to the State of Registry all information related to occurrences associated with the operation of the aircraft which affects or could affect the safety of operation 1. b) Such reports shall be despatched within 72 hours of the time when the occurrence was identified unless exceptional circumstances prevent this. c) The State of Registry shall forward the information received under (a) to the Agency when it relates to failures, malfunctions, defects or other occurrences which cause or might cause adverse effects on the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft.
