1 Технологическая карта урока-путешествия Welcome to London Учебный предмет: английский язык Класс: 7 Учителя: Копташкина Н.В., Макарова Е.В. Цели урока: Повторение, обобщение и систематизирование учебного материала страноведческого характера о Лондоне (активизация имеющихся у учащихся знаний, полученных на уроках английского языка). Стимулирование и мотивация интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка и культуры Великобритании. Формирование коммуникативной компетентности у учащихся. Задачи урока: Практические Расширять знания учащихся о Лондоне на основе лексико-грамматического и страноведческого характера. Упражнять учащихся в умении задавать вопросы и отвечать на них (диалогическая речь) в письменной и устной форме. Упражнять детей в умении построить предложение (закончить его). Тренировать учащихся в применении лексики по теме в виде монологической речи. Активизировать применение учебных умений и навыков в нестандартных условиях (видеоурок и урок-путешествие). Упражнять детей в понимании речи носителей языка, звучащей в видеофильме. Развивающие Устанавливать межпредметную связь английского языка, музыки и изобразительного искусства. Развивать творческую фантазию, память, внимательность, познавательный интерес и инициативу в осуществлении речевой деятельности. Воспитательные Воспитывать у учащихся стремление к изучению английского языка. Воспитывать уважение к культуре и традициям других народов. Планируемые результаты Метапредметные Коммуникативные УУД слушать и понимать речь других; учиться работать в парах и группе.
2 Познавательные УУД получать интересующую информацию и работать со справочной литературой; делать выводы в результате совместной работы класса и учителя. Личностные Мотивация и интерес к изучению английского языка; развитие творческой фантазии. Оборудование: компьютер, экран, мультимедийная установка, раздаточный материал для просмотра видеофильма, иллюстрации для работы в парах, аудиозапись песни The wheels on the bus. 1. Приветствие. Определение темы урока Ход урока Teacher: Hello! Today we ll have an unusual lesson. Look here. This is the motto of our lesson. Слайд 2 The more you live, The more you travel, The more you travel, The more you see, The more you see, The more you learn. Try to guess what we are going to do today. (Ответы детей) Yes, you are right. So, the aim of our lesson is to get as much information about London as possible. 2.Формированиe навыков диалогической речи Teacher: But before starting our virtual excursion along the streets of London, let s find out what places you would like to visit there. You ll discuss it in pairs. I ll give you just 3 min to do the task. (Диалоги) Now we are ready to start our trip. Do you remember this short poem? Up, down. Up, down which is the way..let s say it together Up, down, up, down, Which is the way to London Town? Where? Where?
3 Up in the air, Close your eyes And you are there. Cлайд Teacher: Open your eyes. Welcome to London. I want to tell you about my friend. She lives in London. She s got a very interesting profession. I want you to guess what it is. She meets a lot of people of different nationalities from different countries. She travels by bus around London every day. She tells people all that she knows about London. What is her job? (a guide) You are right. Meet my friend Helen. Helen: Hello boys and girls! Children: Hello! My name is Helen and I am your guide. Today we are going to visit some of the most famous sights in London from our double-decker.слайд 3 (На экране появляется изображение двухэтажного автобуса). T: Who knows when the first double-decker was built and how it looked like? The first bus service in London was started in The first double-decker was built in 1851, but the upper deck didn t have a roof until And the passengers were given raincoats to put on if it started to rain. Now, make yourselves at home. Do you like singing while travelling in a bus? So let s start our trip and sing a song The wheels on the bus. Слайд 4 ( Песенка) 3. Основная часть урока: Путешествие Helen: I welcome you in London. As you know London is one of the largest and most beautiful cities in the world. It has a lot of interesting historical and modern places to visit. About 7 million people live here. London is more than two thousand years old. Слайд Helen: Now we re coming to the centre of London. The heart of London is the City. It s the oldest part of London. And this is our first stop. Слайд This is the Palace where the Queen and her family live. If the flag is on the top the Queen is at home. Do you know this building?
4 Buckingham Palace is like a small town, with a police station, a hospital, a bar, a cinema and a swimming pool. And how many rooms are there in the Buckingham Palace? Who knows? Teacher: You know, Helen, some of our pupils have already been to London. They could help you and try to work as guides. Карен, Никита We d like to tell about it. (проект) Helen: Thank you for assistance. And now on the left you can see Westminster Abbey.Слайд It was founded by Edward the Confessor in All the English monarchs were crowned there. Westminster Abbey is also famous for many outstanding people who were buried there: Robert Burns, Charles Dickens and Isaac Newton are among them. For a long time it was used as monastery and was rebuilt by Henry 3. But our next stop is the Palace of Westminster, which is often called the Houses of Parliament. Слайд It is situated not far from Westminster Abbey. Do you know what «Westminster» means? It means «the monastery to the west». Originally it was a small community around the monastery. From 1530 the Palace of Westminster is the permanent place where the British Government sits. You can see the Clock Tower of the Houses of Parliament.Слайд Do you know anything interesting about it? Сережа: I can help you. ( проект) And our next stop is The London Eye. Слайд It is also called The Millennium Wheel. Do you know why? (It is called so because it was opened in the year 2000 when one millennium ended and the other one started.) Teacher: Dasha, it seems to me you have already experienced such ride. Даша (проект) On the left you can see St.Paul s Cathedral. Слайд It contains fine paintings, sculptures, monuments and works of art. This fine building was built by the famous English architect Sir Christopher Wren in the 17 century. It took Sir Christopher Wren35 years to build this masterpiece. Here you can visit the famous Whispering Gallery, where the words whispered into the stone wall can be heard right round the other side.
5 But our stop is the Tower of London.Слайд It was founded by Julius Caesar and rebuilt in the 11th century by William the Conqueror soon after he had invaded Britain and was crowned King of England in Westminster Abbey. Who can tell us about the Tower of London in details? ( проект) Helen: I m glad that you know so much about the places of interest in London. Thank you for your help and kind attention. And now I offer you to play the game «Who is the quickest».(слайд) Your task is to do a crossword. The first pair is the winner. 4. Просмотр видеофильма Video (This is Britain), Выполнение задания. Teacher: Now let s join two children called Emily and Max who go sightseeing in London with their parents. Video (This is Britain, Oxford University Press, Coralyn Bradshaw). Перед просмотром видеофильма учитель дает учащимся задание. Учитель включает фильм. Слайд (видеофильм). Учащиеся рассматривают картинки задания, смотрят видеофильм, расставляют их в правильном порядке, затем сравнивают со своим партнером. После этого проверяют вместе с учителем. Далее под картинками учащиеся пишут названия достопримечательностей Лондона. Activity Sheet 1 What can you see in the pictures? Read the words. You will work in pairs. Watch and number the pictures in the order you see them on the video. Let s check. (Answers: a Big Ben (6); b Tower Bridge (7); c Buckingham Palace (4); d tube map (8); e sightseeing bus (3); f taxi (2); g London Eye (5); h train station (1). 6 The Prime Minister and the government work in the Houses of Parliament. That s Buckingham Palace. The Queen lives there. Nelson s column is a famous monument in Trafalgar Square. That s Tower Bridge. It s next to the Tower of London. Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus are very busy. And that s Green Park next to the Palace. 5. Окончание урока. T: Our travelling is nearing its end, and so is our lesson. I hope that you ve had a good virtual trip, and learned a lot of new. I believe that in the future all of you ll have a real trip, see everything with your own eyes and, of course, practice English. Up, down, up, down, Which is the way to home Town? Where? Where?
