Historic recognition of Aidlin-Rees Apartments/Rudolf Ising Residence is a deserving honor for Academy Award nominated animation pioneer Rudolf Ising, who did much of his most significant work while living on this site. And beyond the association with Ising, the building is a rare, intact example of Streamline Moderne multi-family housing that is worth preserving. Please listen the the recommendations of the Cultural Heritage Commission, the Los Angeles Conservancy, the Los Angeles Art Deco Society, Hollywood Heritage, Beverly Wilshire Homes Association and many Angelenos and support the designation of Aidlin-Rees Apartments/Rudolf Ising Residence as a landmark.
