An instant Americana genre film classic. SOUND ON SIGHT Kevin Bacon, sporting a creepy moustache, is great, and both boys give strong, naturalistic performances. Cop Car also marks Watts as a director to watch he has a spare, intimate style that uses awkward angles to draw out discomfort. THE GUARDIAN The brisk 86 minutes fly by, keeping the story as lean and efficient as possible. The premise delivers on its entertaining potential with plenty of thrilling and often very funny surprises. INDIEWIRE

Mr. Kaplan gets its fair share of laughs, but it is ultimately its great success in utilising its dramatic element that adds a more rewarding three dimensional depth to its narrative. CINECOLA This film is a wonderful explosion of colour and sunshine and shows Brechner s exceptional storytelling skill at work.
