2 Welcome to the Autumn/Winter 2018/19 guide We ve had a very exciting season here at Brio Entertainment! We welcomed the legendary Charlatans into the centre for four fantastic nights of live gigs! Russell Kane was our special guest at Manford s Comedy Club, and our Easter panto featured Leslie Ash, Dave Benson Phillips and Britain s Got Talent winner Ashlie Butler! As we roll into another season we look forward to welcoming Britain s Got Talent superstars Jamie Raven and the returning Circus of Horrors! And who could forget the excitement of Christmas panto? This December, Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona, Heartbeat s Tricia Penrose and X Factor star Lloyd Daniels will all be starring in ABP Panto s Cinderella! We are incredibly lucky to have some highly talented local theatre and dance groups in our venues and we re so proud watching their talents grow and flourish. All of the team would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved with any of our productions, and to our spectacular audiences who come and support our shows! 3 Manford's Comedy Club 5 October 14 December 1 February 3 May Starts 8.00pm Full 10 Fancy something a bit different to your usual night out? Jason Manford had the exact same thought, and created Manford s Comedy Club which sees some of the country s best comedians come together to perform the funniest stand up comedy live. New and familiar faces will be appearing, Jason Manford and John Bishop have even visited in the past so you never know who ll be popping up! In the words of Jason Manford: Keep on laughin folks, and remember, there s nothing like live! 3

4 Mick Miller - Back from Vegas In 2017, Mick Miller was offered the chance of a lifetime to perform at a major showroom in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. Mick jumped at the chance and was the stand out performer of that show. Mick works all over the world and is a firm favourite on the luxury cruise liners. We are proud to bring him back to the UK for his Back from Vegas Tour. Mick s special guest for the tour is the hilarious Billy Hunter. This will be a great night out filled with fun and laughter! 5 September Full 19 9 September Full 12 Concession 10 Northern Rhythm Big Band The Northern Rhythm Big Band led by Neston born trumpet player Mark White, are back in Northwich Memorial Court bringing with them a host of fantastic big band tunes. Featuring the fantastic vocal abilities of their talented resident singer Laura Steventon, the band are establishing a great reputation playing all your big band favourites made famous by legendary bands such as Glen Miller, Duke Ellington and more! The band have had numerous sellout concerts on the Wirral over the past two years including shows at Floral Pavilion and Heswall Hall! Showaddywaddy Showaddywaddy had more UK hits in the 1970s than any other act! The group have always brought an incredible live show which has acclaimed the world over, and this September they will be live at Northwich Memorial Court! They are in excess of 50 Top Of The Pops performances, Royal Variety performances and countless industry awards! 5 Roberts Bakery Band 23 September Full 10 U16s Free Doors 5.15pm Starts 6.00pm Roberts Bakery Band presents From Sandbach to Switzerland, a spectacular brass band concert in which they will feature alongside the world famous Foden s Band and local youth band, Lions Youth Brass. The concert is staged to raise money for Lions Youth Brass to represent England in the European Youth Brass Band Championships, Switzerland in Jamie Raven - Making Magic 2018 Tour In 2015, Jamie Raven was an impressive runner up in the Britain's Got Talent finals with his show-stopping magic that made Simon Cowell exclaim: 'I now actually believe in magic!' Since then, Jamie has headlined the West End Box Smash "The Illusionists" before taking his first sell out tour Jamie Raven - Live out on the road in 2016 and This September he will be here showing you exactly how he has been "Making Magic" for 25 years. 28 September Full 20 Concession 18 U18s 14 The Singular Exploits of Sherlock Holmes The greatest fictional sleuth of all time springs back to life in these stirring adaptations of the Conan Doyle classics. A high-energy one-man show, featuring a plethora of dashing heroes, villainous rogues and vintage thrills! 29 September Full 12 Concessions 10 The show includes autobiographical snippets detailing his life and times, the adversaries he has faced and mysteries he has solved. The performance is an affectionate one-man homage to the world s greatest detective that includes quick costume changes and wry humour. 5

6 Victoria Jones stars in 'Cilla,' a stunning and elegant review of the life of Cilla Black throughout the 60s. The effervescent Victoria and the gorgeous Shades trio rediscover one of music s most defining eras. They follow the life and career of the iconic Cilla Black while their stories reflect on some of the biggest 60s stars. Featuring brand new arrangements of music from artists including The Beatles and Dusty Springfield. The spectacular features an amazing amalgamation of bizarre and fantastic circus acts all woven into a sensational shock/horror story and the darkest of magic, taking the show to a whole new level. A Rock 'n' Roll roller coaster of a show, with a mainly original soundscape and performed with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek, you ll certainly die laughing. The Nightingale of South Bank This November, Little Pixie Productions present The Nightingale of South Bank. Based on the story of Florence Easton who was one of the most versatile English opera singers, and after training at the Royal Academy at the turn of the 20th century, became professionally known as 'The Nightingale of South Bank.' Performed by Helena Leonard, the story exemplifies the talents of Florence, with performances of famous arias from opera including Madame Butterfly, Gianni Schicchi, Aida, Tosca and many more. 16 November Full 16 Concessions 14 U16s

14 Lost Voice Guy Following the unprecedented success of his appearance on the final of Britain s Got Talent 2018, BBC New Comedy Award winner and star and writer of BBC Radio 4 s comedy series, Ability, Lee Ridley (aka Lost Voice Guy) is setting out on a tour of the UK. He may not be able to talk but he definitely has something to say and his comedy will leave you speechless. Lee is the first stand-up comedian to use a communication aid and made his first stand-up appearance in February He has performed in some of the UK s most popular comedy venues as well as in solo shows at festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, the Brighton Fringe, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival, Nottingham Comedy Festival and Liverpool Comedy Festival. As well as winning Britain s Got Talent this year (the first comedian to do so), Lee also won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014 and his TV and Radio credits have included The One Show (BBC One), Voice Of The People (BBC Three) and BBC At The Edinburgh Festivals (BBC iplayer). 20 BookingInformation It s easy to book your tickets for our shows. Buy online, at the Box Office, or over the phone! Online You can buy online via our ticket agent TicketSource at There will be a small booking fee of 45p + 6% per ticket for all online sales along with some optional charges for mobile tickets and postage. Telephone It s easy to book over the phone for our shows via our ticket agent on The telephone box office service is available Monday to Friday, 9.00am pm (excluding bank holidays) and on Saturday 9.00am pm. Bookings made via our agent will be subject to a small booking fee of 45p + 6% per ticket along with the standard postage fee of 1.50 per booking. In Person You can avoid any booking fees by booking in person at the venues where a member of our team will be happy to help. Conditions of Sale - Unfortunately, we don t allow exchanges or refunds, unless under special circumstances at the manager's discretion. Children under the age of two years old (babes in arms) on the date of a show will not need to purchase a ticket. If you wish to book a seat for them, this will need to be paid for regardless of age. Accessibility - We have a limited number of areas available to accommodate wheelchairs at our events, but every effort will be made to assist in this respect.
