With more than 15 shows presented, they understand the performing art as interdisciplinary teamwork from the very beginning of the creative process. The name Obskené refers to obscene, a word whose Greek root means off (ob-) and stage (-skene). Consequently, Obskené company shows on the stage what was formerly hidden behind the rear curtain, seeking to present obscene, shameless creativity. As a meeting place and an international point of reference for debate, the main objective of FiraTàrrega is to boost the performing arts market, opening the door to the internationalisation of the companies. 11 Grec Festival of Barcelona THEATRE DANCE MUSIC CIRCUS Grec Festival of Barcelona is the city s main annual date with theatre, dance, music, circus and other stage arts. This is a longstanding festival that will take place for no less than the 43rd time in Promoted by Barcelona City Council, the Grec Festival also involves a considerable number of the city s private impresarios and promoters, who produce and organise many of the shows on the programme. With a history stretching back more than forty years, Grec Festival of Barcelona has become the leading producer of shows in Catalonia. In 2016, the Catalan singer songwriter reappeared with In The Cave, an EP with a more powerful and direct sound, closer to Come and PJ Harvey. Now she is back with Does it Ring a Bell?, her most personal record to date.

Once that adventure was over -which left a handful of luminous albums and countless performances- she began a solo career, which so far has borne two albums, El Baile de las Horas and Afrolailo, in addition to another album with Chicuelo, Sintonías. Currently, she continues his adventure by joining the Global Bass community, where she feels comfortable mixing folkloric elements and root music elements with the sound of current electronics.

The Institut Ramon Lull s work is structured in three main areas of activity promoting the following: Catalan literary and scholarly works (Literature and the Humanities Department); Catalan studies in academic settings (Language and Universities Department; and visual arts, architecture and design, performing arts, music and film (Performing and Visual Arts Department).
