Established to strengthen creative industries in the area, Taurapilis is actively engaged into activities which seek to implement new business models, foster the production of innovative CI products and services, consolidate cultural life in the region as well as encourage various collaborations among artists, entrepreneurs and scientists. Small and medium-sized CI businesses (SMBs) get preferential treatment if they choose to realise their business ideas in Taurapilis. Studios in CIC Taurapilis are equipped with modern facilities which help to implement ideas in different cultural sectors. 4

4 Studio theatre Plays, concerts, conferences, educations, rehearsals Studio theatre contains a retractable seating system (203 seats) so by only pushing one button it can be easily transformed into concert hall for 300 people or well-equiped conference venue. 9 Gallery-youth studio Acoustic concerts, meetings, readings Gallery-youth studio: 100 sq. m. Gallery-youth studio is a venue which guarantees close relationship between performer and the audience. There are no walls, no stage, no sound or light engineers, no wires... If musicians choose to, they can play next to the door and actors are able to sit among the spectators. 15

Art club can be used for various events and is easily transformed according to the needs of the customers. Up to 50 people can comfortably and productively work in this multifunctional venue. Kino namai TAURAPILIS has implemented innovative business model which covers two different fields screening movies, videos, audiovisual experiments as well as creating audiovisual art. This film venue is the only space with professional equipment to show movies in Utena region. It has 108 comfortable seats and a possibility to screen both 3d and 2d movies. Even though Media and Education Center has only opened in October, 2015 it has already successfully implemented a few national projects and developed partnerships with other organisations working in the same field Skalvija Cinema Center, Vilnius International Film Festival, Scanorama, etc
