2 DISCOVERING CINEMADAMARE THE CAMPUS A centre for cultural promo on and Interna onal Traveling Movie Campus for filmmakers, students and film industry pro- fessionals, that runs through Italy, during the summer, since ALL FOR FREE par cipants coming each year from more than 65 coun- tries of the world who work together during each stage of a film produc on: script development, loca on scou ng, filming and edi ng. PARTICIPANTS

3 OUR PROPOSAL PRODUCTION Our mission: filmmakers coming from all over the World shot movies in the ci es that host us, working with local filmmakers PROJECTION Open- air screenings: every evening, great movies and films in compe on. The last night of the week, we project our filmmak- ers movies that have been shot in the same city. EDUCATION During the summer Workshops and Master- classes for everybody: all the filmmakers have the chance to learn from interna on- ally esteemed professionals PROMOTION CinemadaMare s filmmakers arrival repre- sents a huge opportunity for a municipality: it obtains media promo on and visibility in movie industry

7 A TOUR AROUND ITALY In 16 years we have been able to involve 13 Italian re- gions in our summer tour. We reach the different stages of the Campus traveling on a double decker bus, that guarantees to all Cinemadamare s filmmakers free shi s from a city to another. We traverse more than miles from South to North, passing through the islands: a real road trip to dis- cover Italy!

8 INTERNATIONAL CREWS Filmmakers that participate to Cinemadamare attend universities and schools of cinema from all over the world, at the moment from more than 65 different countries. During the Campus they form international crews and handle the different production stages of a film. Each one makes his/her expertise available to the other members of the crew in order to make every- body grow professionally, including him/herself and in- volving also actors, extras and directors of the cities that host us.

9 FREE ACCOMODATION IN THE SCHOOLS Municipalities administrations provide us with schools and gyms that we transform in hostels, able to host all our filmmakers. This kind of accomodation produces a strong sense of community and respect among the guys. The staff stays with them to guarantee its immedi- ate presence and to address any problems that may arise.

11 WORKSHOPS AND MASTERCLASSES Our filmmakers and the local ones have the privilege of attending for free Workshops and Masterclasses, learn- ing from internationally esteemed film industry profes- sionals. These sessions are an essential part of each year s Cinemadamare s educational programme. Sometimes these professionals spend some days at the Campus with the guys, staying on the sets and giving them technical advices.

13 PROMOTIONAL EVENTS Waiting For CinemadaMare DECEMBER - 3 days Days of meetings, greetings and filming. A way to strengthen the ties before the be- ginning of the Campus MovieCampus in Barcellona MAY - 4 days Thanks to our partnership with Grimaldi Lines, we leave from Civitavecchia and arrive to Barcellona, traveling on a cruise, talking about cinema and making movies. In Barcellona, we meet young Spanish filmmakers Participation to Venice International Film Festival and Rome Film Fest SEPTEMBER - 1 week Thanks to our collaboration with Luce Cinecittà we are able to provide the guys with the amazing chance of staying at the Lido during Venice International Film Festi- val. Thanks to our collaboration with Roma Lazio Film Commission we partici- pate to the Rome Film Fest All year long, we coordinate Cinemadamare s presenta ons in Universi es all over the World

14 INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS Each year we assign international scholarships to the best participants of the Campus. An unbelievable chance for Cinemadamare s young filmmakers, who can study and experiment, attending the courses of Uni- versities and Schools of Cinemas all over the World. This is possible thanks to agreements and partnerships that we constantly cure all year long.
