3 Your Master of Ceremonies FOR THE EVENING Houston Galloway F. Houston Galloway grew up singing gospel music in the south and discovered Barbershop Quartet harmony in high school. After singing in college it took a few years to reconnect but he has been a very active member of the Barbershop Harmony Society for almost 30 years. Houston is a passionate quartet singer and quite often sings with multiple quartets. Primarily a Tenor he competed on the International stage singing Bass with the Granite Statesmen and will sing Baritone if he loses a bet. As a US Air Force Veteran, he was able to attend college and since then has worked as a Physicist in the aerospace industry. Houston has been in the Northeastern District for 18 years and thrilled to be involved in the in the 56th Alton Bay Barbershop Harmony Jamboree. Lakes Region Chapter Youth In Harmony Fund In March of 2015 the Chapter Board of Directors voted to establish the LRC YIH Fund. The goal, to build and maintain a restricted funding resource enabling the Chapter to provide financial assistance to any New Hampshire Lakes Region high school or college student and/or high school music educator who enrolls in an educational program designed to improve and further develop the attendees skills related to a cappella singing. Since its inception, the chapter has been able to provide assistance with programs in the Lakes Region as well as a number of tuitions to attend programs like the Harmony Explosion Camp run by the Northeastern District of the Barbershop Harmony Society here in the north east. You can help us to do more. Simply contact any member of the Lakes Region Chordsmen to learn more about the LRC YIH Fund and how you can help. Thanks!
