2 Are the timetables up to date? The timetables in this guide are valid as of April The next print run of this guide is expected to be in September Should any of the services featured change between the print date (18/02/2014) and the end date of this guide, then updated timetables will be made available on Timetables at bus stops will be updated as and when a service change occurs. Whilst we have taken every care in producing this guide, Suffolk County Council can t be held liable for any delay or inconvenience arising from any inaccuracies. How do I find which bus to catch? The bus services featured in this booklet can be found on a route diagram on the middle pages of this booklet. The route diagram illustrates the main towns each bus service stops at in this area. How do I find the correct timetable? The majority of services have different sections for Mondays to Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays & Public Holidays. Please be aware that not all services will fit onto one page nor will the service necessarily operate on all days of the week. What about Public Holidays? On most Public Holidays bus operators will run a Sunday service but there may be some instances where services do not operate on a Public Holiday, for example on Christmas day. To be sure, you should contact your service operator prior to travelling on Public Holidays. How do I read the timetable? 1. Find the timetable for the service, direction and day you wish to travel. 2. Look for the stop closest to your starting point. Bus services will call at many stops and it is not practical to show all these in a timetable, so we only show specific timing points for each service. You will need to allow a few minutes difference if the timing point is a few stops away from where you wish to catch the bus. 3. Read across the page from your selected stop to see what time bus services depart and select the one that suits you best. 4. Read down the column from your departure time to ensure the bus goes to your destination if no times are shown against a stop then the bus does not go there. 5. Check at the top of the column to see if there are any codes for service restrictions, for example some services may run at different times on a school day. 6. Ensure that you allow plenty of time to get to your bus stop and be aware that some services may be a few minutes out due to traffic conditions. Using the 24 hour clock. The timetables in this guide use the 24 hour clock in order to avoid confusion between morning and afternoon services. Times from 1.00pm have 12 added to the hour, so 7.30am is shown as 0730 and 7.30pm is shown as 1930 and so on. Suffolk Links will then pick you up from the stop agreed with the operator and take you where you want to go within the defined operating area.
