3 Wireless Sensor Camera (Camera) Wireless Sensor Camera (Camera) VL-WD1 Rear view 1Lens cover & Lens(inside the cover) LED lights Indicator lamp (See the following explanation.) Safety wire Sensor range cap (standard type) types of lens caps (accessories) can be fitted as required. (See the Camera s Installation Guide.) Heat sensor Detects changes in temperature. 7Microphone Speaker 9Register button cover 10Register button (behind the register button cover) Used when registering the camera to the main monitor. (In case of VL- SVH70KLC & VL-SVH70KSC, the camera has already been registered in the main monitor.) 11Heat sensor lever Used to change the angle of the heat sensor. (See the Camera s Installation Guide.) Indicator lamp After the camera has been registered to the main monitor, you can check the camera s status and the wireless signal status from the main monitor by checking the status of the indicator lamp. Indicator display Camera s status Transmission status Signal status (during standby) Flashing green (fast) Flashing green (slow) Lit green Lit orange Lit red Flashing red A sensor has been triggered and the camera is calling the main monitor. The camera is transmitting data to the main monitor. Indicates the signal status from the main monitor. We recommend installing the camera in an area where the status indicator is strong (when the indicator is lit green). Transmissions cannot be sent because there is no signal (out of range).
4 Main Monitor Station (Main monitor) Main Monitor Station (Main monitor) Display(Touch Panel) Only touch the display using your fingers. Confirm door lock button & indicator (red) If there is an unlocked electrical lock or an open window/door, the indicator lights in red. Touch the button to check the state of the electric lock, lock/unlock, check the status of the window/ door sensor, etc. Arm mode indicator (red) Arm(At Home/Away):lights on (red) Disarm :lights off 7 Notification indicator (blue) Flashes when there are unviewed doorphone s images or there is a notification. (When the display is touched, the top menu is displayed and the indicator stops flashing.) Speaker : Talk button & indicator (blue) 7 : OFF button Microphone 9 SD card slot 10 Reset button If the main monitor cannot be correctly operated, press the Reset button with a pointed object to reset the main monitor. (Recorded images and the configured settings are not affected.) It takes approx. 1 minute to be usable after the reset operation.
5 Basic Operations The number after the button shows the location of the button described in the previous page. When there are multiple cameras, touch the desired camera number, then touch the camera image.. Monitor the sound and image. To record the monitored image manually Touch [ 録画 ] while monitoring an outside image. To play recorded images 1. Touch the display (touch panel). Touch [ 録画の一覧 ]. When you use the camera, you can switch the doorphone s image list and the camera s image list by touching [ カメラ一覧へ ]/[ ドアホン一覧へ ].. Touch the desired date and then touch the desired image. The recorded image is played back. To call the sub monitor 1. Touch the display (touch panel). Touch[ 室内呼 ]. When there are multiple devices that can be selected: - You can select the desired device on the sub monitor s list. - You can call all devices by touching [ 一斉呼出 ].. Page the other party, then talk with the paged party when they answer the call.

To call the main monitor or another sub monitor 1. Press ( ). When the sub monitor is registered to the base unit of telephone or fax, select using and press. When there are multiple devices that can be selected: - You can select the desired device by using and press. (You can call all devices by selecting.). Page the other party, then talk with the paged party when they answer the call. 7 Telephone function To make a call 1. Lift the sub monitor from the charger and press ( 1 ).. Open the flip and dial the phone number. To end the call, press ( 9 ). To receive a call When the phone rings, press To end the call, press. and talk. To make a call using the speakerphone (Hands-free talk) 1. Press for approx. seconds.. Open the flip and dial the phone number, then talk to the microphone. Speak clearly about 0 cm away from the microphone. To switch to the earpiece, press for approx. seconds again. To end the call, press. To place the current call on hold Press during a call. To retrieve the held call Press. To transfer the held call to the base unit or another sub monitor of telephone/fax 1. Press during a call.. Press ( ). When there are multiple devices that can be selected: - You can select the desired device by using and press. (You can call all devices by selecting.). Press when the other party answers.
