3 OBJECT OF GAME THE PLAYER INSERTS COIN/TOKEN AND WAITS FOR THE YELLOW BUTTONS TO FLASH, INDICATING THE GAME IS READY TO PLAY. THE PLAYER PUSHES THE YELLOW BUTTON IN FRONT OF THE WHEEL HE/SHE WISHES TO STOP. POINTS ARE ACCUMULATED AND SHOWN ON THE DISPLAY. THESE POINTS CORRELATE TO THE TICKET PAYOUT SCALE PRINTED JUST BELOW THE YELLOW BUTONS. MATCHING TWO OF A KIND WILL DOUBLE YOUR FINAL SCORE, AS WELL AS MATCHING THREE OF A KIND WILL TRIPLE YOUR FINAL SCORE. MATCHING THREE TEN THOUSANDS WILL PAY THE BONUS, OR PROGRESSIVE 2

4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Inspect the game for any damage. If damage is found please contact Bay-tek immediately at: or (920) Remove the keys taped into the coin return The power cord is coiled up and laying in the back of the game. Uncoil the cord and feed the cord through one of the holes in the bottom back board of the cabinet. Close and lock the door. Place the game in the desired location making sure that the game is level. Plug the game in. Turn on the power strip that is located in the middle of the bottom back board Use glass cleaner and a soft clean cloth to clean all the glass on the game. The game is set to the standard factory settings. Variations and user changeable features are listed in this manual. Play the game a few times to make sure that everything is working. If something is not working or if anything goes wrong during the life of the game, contact the service department at: service@baytek.com, or (920) PROGRESSIVE SIGN INSTALLATION Locate the bolts and nuts in each game's cash box. Place the games side by side. Place the sign centered on top of the two games. Line up the holes on the top of the game with the holes on the bottom of the sign. Use the bolts and nuts to fasten the sign to the two games. Run the progressive cables found in each game to their respective locations on the progressive sign via the larger holes. 3

5 PROGRAMMING The dipswitches should look just like the diagram below. When setting the dipswitches, turn the game off by pulling the plug out of the wall outlet. Set the dipswitches to the desired settings, wait 30 seconds and then plug the game back into the wall outlet. ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE GAME FROM ITS POWER SOURCE BEFORE SERVICING! 7 TROUBLESHOOTING WHEEL DOESN'T SPIN: CHECK CONTINUITY ON ALL WIRES BACK TOTHE MAIN BOARD. SWAP WITH A WORKING WHEEL TO NARROW THE PROBLEM. WHEEL DOESN'T STOP/SCORE PROPERLY: THIS IS CAUSED BY A BAD SENSOR IN THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY. WHEEL DOESN'T STOP WHEN BUTTON IS PUSHED: CHECK THAT THE STOP BUTTON SWITCH IS WORKING PROPERLY AND HAS CONTINUITY BACK TO THE MAIN BOARD. TICKET DISPENSER DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY: CLEAN THE OPTIC SENSOR INSIDE THE TICKET DISPENSER. TRY SWAPPING THE DISPENSER WITH ONE THAT WORKS PROPERLY. CHECK FOR CONTINUITY BACK TO THE MAIN BOARD. DIAGNOSTICS TO ENTER DIAGNOSTICS TURN OFF THE GAME AND TURN ON DIPSWITCH SIX ON BANK ONE (LEFT HAND BANK). NOW TURN THE POWER BACK ON AND HOLD DOWN THE LEFT HAND YELLOW BUTTON. THE DISPLAY SHOULD SAY "DIA". EACH WHEEL SHOULD STOP WITH THE ARROWS AT THE TOP LINE OF THE "10,000". STARTINGWITH THE LEFT HAND WHEEL, ADJUST THE POSTION BY USING THE MIDDLE YELLOW BUTTON TO LOWER THE "10,000" POSITION AND THE RIGHT YELLOW BUTTON TO MOVE IT UP. ONCE ADJUSTED HIT THE LEFT YELLOW BUTTON TO SET THE POSITION. THIS WILL MOVE THE CALIBRATION SETUP TO THE MIDDLE WHEEL. USE THE SAME STEPS CALIBRATE THIS THE REMAINING TWO WHEELS. ONCE FINISHED CALIBRATING ALL THREE WHEELS, TURN DIPSWITCH SIX ON BANK ONE OFF. THE PROGRESSIVE SIGN(IF APPLICABLE) SHOULD NOW LIGHT UP AND FLASH AS IF THE JACKPOT HAS BEEN WON. THIS IS TO SHOW THAT THE PROGRESSIVE SIGN AND THE GEN5 MAINBOARD ARE WORKING PROPERLY IN CORELATION TO EACH OTHER. HIT THE JACKPOT RESET BUTTON ON THE PROGRESSIVE SIGN TO END. THE GAME IS NOW READY FOR PLAY. 6

22 WARRANTY INFORMATION Bay-Tek, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that the game will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of six months from the date of installation. Bay-Tek, Inc. will without charge, repair or replace, at its option, defective product or component parts upon notification to the factory service department. Serial number identification will be required for warranty consideration. Warranty replacement part(s) will be shipped immediately via ground service, along with an RMA number for the return of the defective part(s). Defective parts must be shipped back to Bay-Tek, Inc. unless otherwise instructed. This warranty does not apply in the event of any misuse or abuse of the product, or as a result of any unauthorized repairs or alterations. This warranty does not apply if the serial number is altered, defaced or removed from its original position. Should your game need servicing, determine the serial number from the logic unit of the game, and call or service@bay-tek.com REPAIR OF NON-WARRANTY UNITS Should your game need servicing, determine the serial number from the logic, and call or service@bay-tek.com. An estimate of repair charges will be quoted to you for approval. Proceed in one of the two following ways: 1. Request immediate shipment of advanced replacement parts. 2. Send in the defective unit for repair and return. If advanced replacement(s) are requested, you will receive with your parts an RMA number for the return of the faulty part(s). You must return defective parts within 14 days to avoid additional charges. Should you choose to return for repair include the following: a. Name, address and phone number including area code. b. Game serial information c. A purchase order number, work order number or signed authorization to perform service. Repair and Return parts will be shipped back using the same mode of transportation under which they were received. Repairs are warranted for a period of thirty (30) days from the date installed into service. 21
