3 1. GENERAL This specification describes the XAC magnetic stripe card reader. It is a manually swipe reader which reads cards that meet the standards defined by ISO 7811/2 through 5. This compact, versatile swipe reader also can read high coercivity cards (up to 4000 Oe) used in Access control, employee ID application. 2.
