3 1. Machine 1.1 Mechanical Body SP 1U main machine is designed as a C shape framework with an X cross table and a transverse body. This machine tool has excellent rigidity and machining accuracy. The U-type structure dielectric unit saves space to a great extent. The fume extractor helps to exhaust the fume from erosion. The magnetic shield protects the operator from harm of radiation. The positioning accuracy software compensation function makes the machine tool enjoy a longer accuracy life span. X/Y/Z axes X/Y axes are driven by step motors (standard configuration) / DC motors (option) and Z axis by a DC motor with rotation encoder. Ball screw with the three axes and the guides are precision linear rolling guide-ways. Table and work tank On the table regularly scatter M10 thread holes. The long and short screw bolts, seats, and pressure plates facilitate tooling; the table top is ground precisely. The work tank is equipped with dielectric pressure regulating valve, pressure and vacuum flush gauges that can help to achieve lateral flushing, internal flushing and vacuum flushing, level switch and temperature switch which will stop machining and give corresponding warnings on the screen when the dielectric level is too low or the dielectric temperature is too high. Work head Z axis plate can go with EROWA, 3R or Taiwan manual chucks, and also be equipped with internal flushing connector. SP 1U Scope of Supply - 2 -

4 1.2 Generator Modular design. All the electrical equipment is fitted with safety devices such as breakers, fuse, relays and safety switches. The generator employs equal-pulse duration control type and equal-frequency control type, with machining voltage selectable (100V or 300V) and machining servo self-adaptable. It has various protective means and electrode low wear control circuits. Z axis is machining spindle, X and Y axes can only perform planetary machining. Multi-CPU separate control system which increase the processing ability and reliability of this system. Save on power failure automatically. 17 LCD, touch screen, facilitates the use of interfaces. LAN port, USB port, easy access to data. Hand box Supplies three speed grades to move axes: high, medium, low and single step. Switches pump ON and OFF. Starts, confirms and pauses erosion.
