I m excited to inform you that Sonic Sonar remembered the story his dad told him about Gideon and he went out to defeat Dr. D s clone army. After one supersonic scream, the clones came crashing down. Sonic Sonar led the way to victory! Week 8 2 of 16 Large Group
3 DIRECTOR STONE (cont.) Now, just before you got here, I received this in the mail from the EVIL Lair. It appears that Dr. D and Poof are challenging the heroes at HERO Headquarters to a winner takes all battle. I find it strange that they chose paper with kittens on it for their message. Maybe they plan to use kittens in their attack. That would be ridiculous. We don t know what to expect, so Iris, I want all heroes on standby. And that includes myself. All heroes on standby, Director. IRIS DIRECTOR STONE I need all of you to be ready too. Be prepared for Dr. D and Poof to launch everything they have at us. But, do not be afraid. God s power in us will make us victorious! If you re ready for today s mission, let me hear you say, LET S GO! Valiant! I ll activate the invisibility shield around you so you can enter the EVIL Lair. Be ready to report back everything you see! Invisibility shield activated. IRIS AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Transition to EVIL ACT 1 The EVIL Lair AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 1 LIGHTS AT 100% and enter. Track Record is still gone from stage. By now, those heroes at HERO Headquarters will have received my evil letter challenging them to a winner takes all battle. Oooooh, this is the day, Poof. This is the day we take EVERYTHING from those heroes! You did remember to put this challenge on your Evil Overlord stationary, right? Not your Cuddly Kittens stationary? Of course I remembered to do that! (thinking) Well I think I did Let s hope you did! They aren t going to take us seriously if we send our challenges to them on a piece of paper with kittens all over it! I m sure I sent the right paper! Now, we have no more time to focus on the paper. We have to start our attack. (giving pep talk) Poof, I m going to need everything you ve got today. You have to give 110%. Leave it all on the field. We ve got to hit the ground running. Think outside of the box. I need you on your A game. Week 8 3 of 16 Large Group
4 (confused) Are you just saying all the cheesy clichés you can think of? Maybe. But they re all true! I m seriously going to need all of your brain and muscle power today. I mean THIS. IS. IT! This is the winner takes all! Today could be the day that we defeat the heroes once and for all and WE get the victory!! Poof, this is the stuff movies are made of. I have always wanted to be in a movie. Exactly! Just think of it.it will be a trilogy, of course. It will be titled EVIL s Glorious Victory. You and I will play ourselves. We ll make millions. (starts daydreaming) Think of all the evil accessories you can buy with millions of dollars. (trying to get focused) Ok, we re getting distracted again! (snapping back to reality) Right! We ve got to start our attack. Now, I m thinking that we start with something (dramatic pause) unexpected. Ok. What did you have in mind? FIRE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 2 Well, we ve recently launched the Water Control-o-matic on the heroes - (interrupting) Which they defeated, no problem. I wasn t finished explaining yet. Now, sure they defeated the Water Control-o-matic. But that was the plan all along. It was your plan to be defeated by the heroes over and over and over again? Will you just listen! Now, the heroes think that they ve defeated my Water Control-o-matic. What they won t expect is for me to launch an attack with it again. Isn t that completely pointless since they defeated it the first time? Week 8 4 of 16 Large Group
5 Alright Poof, really? If you have any more questions, you have to raise your hand. Just let me divulge my evil plan without any more interruptions, alright? Now, I ve ADAPTED the Water Control-o-matic to have a freeze mode again. That way, the heroes will think they can defeat it again, but they can t. Cloud Man can absorb water, but he can t absorb ICE! (raising hand, wanting to be called on) Mmmmm.mananamam.. (turning away from Poof) Nope! I m not even going to listen to your questions! If I can t see you, then you aren t raising your hand. Continuing with my plans, I am going to launch the NEW Freeze-o-matic onto HERO Headquarters, freezing them all inside. When they surrender, EVIL will have the victory!!!! Now, I m going to launch the Freeze-o-matic and YOU stay here to watch the battle cam on the screens. That way, you can watch our victory! YES! It s SOOOO evil! exits, still has hand raised until exits. (put hand down) So many questions! So, so many questions! Oooooh, I have a bad feeling about this! (picks up remote from desk, points toward screen and pushes button) Please let this work! FIRE: HV_ES_FIRE and ICE video AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 1 can react to the video on screen and help Dr. D hit the cue for the next line. (from offstage) (reacting to video) NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (reacting to video) Ohhhh boy. enters, angry that the heroes just beat them. Poof, this is all your fault! (defensive) WHAT?!?!?! It is! If you weren t distracting me earlier with all your talk of being a movie star, I could ve launched the Freeze-o-matic before those heroes were ready! No way! That is NOT my fault! Week 8 5 of 16 Large Group
6 Well now, thanks to you, we are already behind! ACT 2 Plan B Well what s plan B? I m so glad you asked! I ve been waiting for the opportunity to use my Plan B-o-matic! Your..what? FIRE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 2 YES! My Plan B-o-matic. I knew that there would be a time in my life of villainy that I would have to fall back on a Plan B. That s why I ve drawn up the plans for my Plan B-o-matic. What exactly is a Plan B-o-matic? That, my sidekick, is an excellent question. Allow me to show you. reaches offstage and gets box with bomb inside. (cont.) (deep breath in) Basically, the Plan B-o-matic is a bomb which will blast those booger-brained heroes by such a brute blow that they will not be able to block it. The battle will be behind as we baffle the heroes while breaking into the bottom of the burning building. They will be bamboozled as they see the evil that is boiling beneath the surface! Now, stop babbling and get to work! (deep breath out) HUH? Boggling, I know. But, back to the basics, here are the blueprints. (pulls out blueprints from folder on desk) You see, it isn t just an ordinary bomb. It s a bomb that can penetrate through anything! It can break through walls, windows, force fields, large billboards, and oversized statues in fountains. That s a feature that I ve only added recently, by the way. So I m a little lost. This bomb sounds like it can do anything. Why is it your Plan B instead of your Plan A? Week 8 6 of 16 Large Group
7 Because bomb starts with a B duh. Oh brother. So we launch this bomb into HERO Headquarters, it breaks through the wall, and then explodes inside the building? Yes! It will explode, causing the entire structure to fall down. The heroes will be trapped inside, which means that we will be victorious! The villains will have the ultimate victory! So what are we waiting for? The thing is that I still have to construct it. Sooooo, there s that. You haven t constructed it yet? No. I mean, I ve done most of the work. See? (holds up bomb) So what s left to do? I need to figure out how to make it NOT explode while it s still here in the EVIL lair. I think I ve figured out a solution, but I m gonna need some tools. Ok, let s head to the workshop, make the finishing touches on the Plan B- o-matic, and then launch it before the heroes can launch a preemptive attack on us! Good idea! Let s go! and exit, carrying Plan B-o-matic supplies. LIGHTS DOWN FIRE: HV_ES_Later AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 1 LIGHTS UP tosses baby powder onto stage and then quickly comes on stage. follows shortly after, out of breath. Leave Plan B-o-matic supplies off stage. (breathless) Aw man, I almost beat you that time! But I tripped on something at the bottom of the stairs. Week 8 7 of 16 Large Group
8 Look, we don t have time to figure out why you didn t beat me here. We need to watch the battle cam to see what s going on. (points remote toward screens and pushes a button) FIRE: HV_ES_Director s Arrow Video and comment on the video. There it goes! Oh, it looks so evil! I just know this is going to work! Look at how fast it s going! Those heroes don t stand a chance against the Plan B-o-matic! Victory is so close, I feel like I can. (interrupting, pointing to screen) Uhhhhh.what s that? Is that an arrow? and look at each other, both worried, and then at the same time look back at the screens. Is that one of Director Stone s arrows? You know his arrows are the most powerful weapon ever! (after arrow hits bomb and causes fireworks) No.no..no no no no! Director Stone is retired! HE S RETIRED!!! AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 2 (correcting, turns slowly to Dr. D) He NEVER retires. NEVER. I thought he was just a teacher now. I didn t know he was still an active hero. This defeat is not my fault! (insinuating Poof, starts scratching nose with pointer finger that is really pointing to Poof) Someone led me to believe that the Plan B-o-matic was ready to launch! It WAS! But you of all people should know that Director Stone s arrows are stronger than any substance and that he can hit a baby fly on a wall that is four football fields away! Of course he can hit a bomb coming toward HERO Headquarters. Well then, there is only one thing left to do. We must step up our game. You know there is one thing that makes ALL heroes surrender. There is one situation in which the villain always has the upper hand and ends up victorious. You know what I m talking about, don t you? Week 8 8 of 16 Large Group
9 and exit. LIGHTS DOWN FIRE: HV_ES_Later (very evil) Oh I know what you re talking about. Yes. That is truly very, very evil. (very evil) Looks like you and I need to go for a little walk, Poof. AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 1 LIGHTS UP ACT 3 Hostage Situation DR.D and enter. They are escorting HOSTAGES, who are tied up in ropes. They escort HOSTAGES to sit in the middle of the stage. This is SOOO evil! Heroes always give up when the lives of innocent civilians are at stake! It s a classic villain move! Poof, this is it. I can feel it in my evil bones. This is going to be the attack that makes us VICTORIOUS! Oh yes. Dr. D, I actually feel great about this. The heroes would never expect us to take hostages! They will surrender in a heartbeat! All we have to do is create a very sinister looking set, make a ransom video, send it over to HERO Headquarters, and they will surrender this battle! (imitating laugh from week 1, raising arms in the air) Muahahahahaha! Muahahahahaha! (imitating laugh from week 1, wringing hands) Heeeeheee hoohoooo! Oh yes Poof, this is our shining moment! Now, I ll go get the video camera. You go get the sinister set design that I ordered from the Hostage Supply Store. I ve been waiting for the chance to use that! Got it! Meet you back here in five minutes! I ll race you! You re on! 1 (reaching into pouch for baby powder) Week 8 9 of 16 Large Group

I have infiltrated the EVIL Lair. (towards the audience) Hi guys, it s me, (take off wig and glasses) I know you can t recognize me with my disguise, but I do what I have to do as part of the Special Ops Game team. It was a little tough to get in here today, but I made it. Okay so we have to make this quick. These hostages are tied up and we need to help. I ve got to untie them. AAACK! Oh no this is awful. They are tied up with ROPE! (getting anxious) Rope is my weakness. I can t touch it, it makes my hands sweat. This isn t good. I ve got to get help from the rest of the Special Ops Game Team. (puts hand to ear for communication) Kapow and Shazam can you hear me? I need to you two to get here FAST! FIRE: HV_ES_Wk8_Game Video AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Gametime w/ Game Teaching Music KABLOOEY Oh no! Kapow and Shazam are stuck in the elevator! Ok superheroes, our mission is clear. We heard what our game plan should be. We have a two-step plan. But first, I need two superheroes to play. (pick 2 contestants from the audience. Once on stage, introduce them by asking name and then give them a cool superhero nickname. Examples: Super Sarah, Amazing Alex, Sonar Sam) Now that we have our superheroes, it s time to play our game called Hostage Heist! Now, for that two-step plan I was talking about. First, each one of you have to untie a hostage! You can do this by un-wrapping the rope that is tied around them. For the second step, you will go into my backpack and get out a disguise. This disguise will consist of 1 pair of Funny Face Glasses and a hat for each hostage. You will then put the disguises on the hostages you have freed. The first superhero to untie the hostage and put on their disguise is the winner. I know you can do this! God s power in you will make you victorious!!! Let s all count it down together from 3 and say Victorious. Kids, help me count 3, 2, 1, VICTORIOUS!! Week 8 10 of 16 Large Group

I knew you both would be victorious! Here are your prizes. (take 1 large and 1 small prize from backpack) Thanks for being super awesome playing the game today, you can take a seat. (direct them back to audience) I must go (puts back on the clown wig and sunglasses).we have a plan on how these hostages are going to help the heroes in the final defeat of Dr. D and Poof. God s power in us has led us to our chance for victory. (very dramatic) This just might be the end of all villainy as we know it. (to hostages) Come on guys, its GO time! (puts hand to ear for communication) Director, it s time to reactivate the invisibility shield. Kablooey out! FIRE: HV_ES_Reactivation w/ SFX AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 1 LIGHTS AT 100% KABLOOEY exits with HOSTAGES in disguise. As soon as they get on stage, they realize that the HOSTAGES are gone. Wait a second I feel like something s missing here. The hostages! The hostages are gone! (turning to Poof) Poof! How could you let the hostages get away? This is all your fault! How is this my fault? I was busy getting your hostage supply kit! (throws all the props on the ground) Just find them! How did they get out of those knots? Those are grade V hostage hold em knots! Week 8 11 of 16 Large Group

FIRE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Doorbell SFX AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 1 Who is that? OOOh! Maybe it s the hostages! (amazed that Dr. D just said that) Really? You think the hostages would have escaped just to come right back here? Ok, good point. Who is it then? (shrugs shoulders) I dunno. and go to their RIGHT, where HOSTAGES will be waiting in disguise with the two boxes. After coming on stage, one HOSTAGE will walk to the other side of so that all characters can face the audience. (So that as they face the audience, first HOSTAGE,,, and second HOSTAGE are all in a line.) Well hello there! Who are you? Look Dr. D, they have boxes! FIRE: HV_ES_Villain Logo w/ Acting 5 Look, there s a message. It says (reading description on box) Greetings from a neighboring villainous league! We ve heard of your battle with the heroes and we ve sent you this gift to aid you in destroying those heroes once and for all, thus getting the ultimate victory for the villains. Best of luck in world domination! Awwwwww. How nice! That was so thoughtful! I love presents! Let s see what s inside! and will open the boxes. The two HOSTAGES will then pie them in the face. 13 Ahhhhhh!!! What just happened???? I can t see anything! There is some kind of delicious goodness in my eyes! It burrrrrrns! It buuuurrrnssss!!! and will reach around, eventually running into each other. The HOSTAGES will then take the ropes from the stage and tie them up. Poof! Are you tying me up? What are you doing? What? No! I m not tying you up! Why in the world would I tie you up? It must be the hostages! They must have figured out a way to tie us up! Poof! How could you let this happen? How are you supposed to be a villainous sidekick if you don t kick away the people who are attacking me from the side? This is all your fault. This is NOT my fault! It s never my fault! You got yourself into this. And now we will never be victorious! Oh yes we will, because no one captures me! NO ONE! I ll be back! I ll be back, I tell you! Whatever you say, Dr. D. LIGHTS DOWN HOSTAGES can help and get offstage. FIRE: HV_ES_Transition to HHQ AUTO ADVANCE: HV_ES_Wk8_Bible Story Invisibility shield deactivated. IRIS DIRECTOR STONE Great work, heroes! That was a close one! We were able to stop the attacks from the EVIL Lair before they could get to HERO Headquarters. However, we were NOT expecting Dr. D and Poof to take hostages! I m so glad we had you on the inside! Because of your help, we were able to capture Dr. D and Poof forever! Soon, they will be locked in the pit. You know the Armpit. The Armpit is a jail cell that is so hot and sweaty, it s just like being in someone s armpit forever! But, just because Dr. D and Poof are locked up doesn t mean that our battle with evil is over. As heroes, you will be on a life-long mission battling evil every day! And the only way you will be victorious is if Jesus is the leader and hero of your life. Week 8 13 of 16 Large Group
