By the end of the class they will know how to properly breathe, project, annunciate, create a character and audition for productions. Students will be audition ready with two contrasting monologues and have worked on scenes within class. Intro to Theatre Class size: Level: A.A. Format: Lecture Duration: 16 weeks Educate students about the history and current art form of theatre. During the first 8 weeks of the class, students learn about the different positions in theatre. Students then learn a quick summary of theatre history in the last 8 weeks. By the end of the class, they will have participated in a 10-minute production that they write, direct, design and perform in small groups.
