Residents pay a monthly fee to recycle glass, aluminum, tin, plastic (#1-7), cardboard, paperboard (i.e. cereal boxes), paper, newspaper, and phonebooks. C & C Disposal (no glass) 21 N. Research Dr., Pueblo West , Wed.-Sun. 12 p.m.-7 p.m. Recycle While You Walk The City of Pueblo recently partnered with Creative Outdoor Advertising to encourage pedestrian recycling throughout the community. Recycling stations allow pedestrians to recycle bottles and cans, and clean paper products while they are walking, shopping, sightseeing, or otherwise strolling along our sidewalks and pathways. Stations can not accept bulk recyclables and should not be used as bulk drop-off sites. Bulk items left outside the bins may be considered an act of littering or dumping. Invite the LitterBee to your preschool, childcare center or troop meeting this Spring. This free 45- minute presentation for ages 4-8 years teaches about the negative effects of littering in Pueblo. Program I ncludes a game, litter patrol (weather permitting), and give-aways for each child. Call for bookings. Contact the City Manager s Office at (719) with questions.
