1 SYNOPSIS ETIQUETA NEGRA (BLACK LABEL) An attractive girl, Alex (Úrsula Coberó), refuels his car in a solitary gas station and talks with Erik (Marel Borràs), the person in charge of the nighttime. Both know each other and like each other, but no one breaks the ice. The girl finally leaves without a step to be taken. The security man of the gas station asks Erik to cover him while he goes to pick up black label melons. In the end, Erik accepts and the security man leaves. Soon after, three women with masks and dressed mind-blowingly arrive to the gas station with a non clear intentions. DIRECTOR S BIOGRAPHY (DAVID VERGÉS) I m a film director born in Figueres, Spain and based in Barcelona, where I studied Film Direction at ESCAC (Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia). I also studied Psychology at Ramon Llull University, driven by my passion to understand human behavior and for my incessant curiosity and true passion for discovery. Through my career, I have worked with some of the world s leading advertising agencies such as DDBº, Lola-Mullenlowe, McCann, Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Contrapunto, and Shackleton, among others. Audi, Sony, Volkswagen, Seat and Samsung are just some of the well known brands that I have had the privilege of working with. I have managed to combine my two passions, shooting and traveling, by working all over the world. U.S, Indonesia, India, Italy, France, South Africa, Greece, Kenya and Lebanon, are just some of the places that I have been lucky enough to see and shoot. My other great passions are photography and cinema. I have written and directed several shortfilms: Cheescake and La Novia have been screened and nominated at dozens of film festivals. And recently Black Label" ( Etiqueta Negra) a short film that is just starting out on the national and international short film festival circuit and selected for prestigious film festivals such as Tribeca Film Festival, Festival de Málaga, Foyle Film Festival, Short Film Festival Winterthur and Cortogenia, among others. I like to sum up my work in a single sentence: I just love what I do
