2 WELCOME Although the Beast from the East started our year with quite a blast I think it s safe to say we are now enjoying a much warmer albeit delayed Spring on the coast and hopefully lengthy Summer to follow. As always I hope you find something for everyone within these pages; from the July preschool delights of Peppa Pig and Friends all the way through to the return of Skegness sweetheart and top diva Jane McDonald in her 20th anniversary SOLD OUT tour this September. Of course there is a notable omission from our Summer calendar with Sir Ken Dodd having played his final show on our stage in August a seaside Summer season that can never quite be the same Showing that the art and craft of British seaside entertainment and humour is still very much sought after worldwide, I am delighted to present for the 2018 Summer Season direct from their Las Vegas debut in ITV s Last Laugh in Vegas the inimitable Cannon and Ball will take to the stage for four performances only of the Dressing Room this August a play written and produced by Bobby. Add into the mix a plethora of new developments across MAGNA VITAE venues including Upstairs at The Embassy and 2018 is certainly shaping up to be an extremely exciting year! Where To Find Us The Embassy Theatre is situated on Grand Parade right at the heart of the seafront attractions of Skegness. Surrounded by lots of other attractions, to enjoy pre or post performance. Parking/Public Transport There is a pay and display car park (with a height barrier, maximum height 2.05m) at the rear of the theatre, free after 6pm, with an overflow car park nearby for particularly busy performances. The theatre is within walking distance of the majority of the hotels in the area, the coach and train stations are just a short walk through the Town Centre. Accessibility Information Wheelchair Users - A limited number of wheelchair positions are available in the front stalls; these seats must be booked in advance. Please inform the box office of any special requirements you may have to help us ensure that everybody is able to enjoy the performance. There are two Public entrances to the theatre, the main entrance off Grand Parade provides automatic double doors at street level; the second entrance is accessible from the car park or off Grand Parade via a ramp, and opens directly into the stalls level of the theatre. Mobility scooters are not permitted in the auditorium and should be parked in the designated area next to the Main Foyer lift. Parking - There are a limited number of accessible parking spaces in the main pay and display car park. Lift - The theatre has a wheelchair accessible lift to all floors. Toilet - Wheelchair accessible toilets are situated on the stalls level of the theatre.
