Please see the page reference to find the anser in the music material that ill assist you in filling in this orkbook material. When complete, you ill send in your orkbook by both scanning and ing it or post it in the mail. If mailed it ill be returned to you ith your Certificate of Session Completion. When all sessions of the level have been completed you ill receive your PLAQUE ith your Certification for that level. The orkbook is laid out to insure that you have understood the material being presented and that you can properly demonstrate the topics being taught. 3 Name The Staff Date The musical staff is made up of five lines and four spaces. Lines and spaces are both numbered from lo to high Practice draing to staffs by connecting the dots. 9 Name Stems are used to help determine hat rhythmic value a note ill have. By adding a stem to an open notehead you change the value of the note from a hole note to a half note = 4 Ó = 2 Stems 1. Practice draing stems by adding the proper stem to each notehead. Date It is important to dra stems on the proper side of the notehead and dra them in the proper direction. Notes that appear on or above the middle staff line have donard stems dran on the left side of the notehead.
