Norwich Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the venue. Numerous bus routes are available from within 100m of the venue. Numbers for preferred private taxi firms can be found at Box Office. LOAD IN Load In Address (Banking Hall): Load In Details: Load In Address (Club Room): Load In Details: Load In Times: Bank Plain, Norwich, NR2 4SF Vehicles loading into the Banking Hall should be stationed along Bank Plain adjacent to the building opposite Be At One Cocktail Bar. Here you can load straight into the venue, stage right. Please park facing North West with the building to the left of your vehicles. We have ramps for steps and loading onto the main stage. 28 Castle Meadow, Norwich, NR1 3DS Vehicles loading into the Club Room can pull into our loading bay on Castle Meadow and load in down one flight of stairs. Once load-in is finished, all vehicles must find alternative parking unless permission has been gained from the Head of Venue in advance. Event specific, please liaise with Live Events Manager to arrange load-in times.

Parking Vehicles loading into the Banking Hall should be stationed along Bank Plain adjacent to the building opposite Be At One Cocktail Bar. Here you can load straight into the venue, stage right. Please park facing North West with the building to the left of your vehicles. We have ramps for steps and loading onto the main stage. The loading bay for the Banking Hall has a 15 minute limit, however, on request we can apply for an extended parking permit for vehicles from Norwich City Council. This extends the parking to take 2 x full size tour buses & 1 trailer or 1 x full size tour bus, trailer and 17-ton lorry for PA. Vehicles loading into the Club Room should access the building via the club entrance off Castle Meadow - look for the large green gates. Please note that unless prior permission has been granted, once vehicles have loaded in they must be moved from this area.

We do not generally supply staff for this and it would be expected that the Hirer would arrange. If you do require us to organise staff for this, please advise us in good time. The location of the merchandising area the main hall is next to the cloakroom, to the left of the bar as you enter the venue. For the club room, we can set up a table and lamp opposite the main entrance on request.
17 Page 17 of 17 Policy: OPEN s Safety Policy is available upon request. Health & Safety Paperwork: To satisfy statutory regulations and our license conditions, we require information and relevant risk assessments if your production involves any activity that may cause significant risk. This may include but not be limited to; pyrotechnics, firearms, swords, naked flame, water, hazardous substances, personnel flying, special effects, lasers, strobes, animals and children. Should you have identified any significant risk, you should copy us into any current risk assessments and relevant control measures or method statements. You should also ensure that you have current certification for any equipment that requires it, i.e. P.A.T., Lifting Gear, Flame Proofing, in case you are requested to produce them either yourselves or by the licensing authority. Fire Safety: All scenery used on stage must be maintained flame retardant. All curtains or drapes should be of a durably or inherently flame retardant fabric and should conform to BS Part 1: As a guideline, any sheet material less than 18mm (3/4 ) thick and timber less than 22mm nominal thickness should be treated to Class 1 (BS. 467 Part 7) In line with current UK Regulations there is no smoking or vaping allowed within the building. Working Areas: You are contractually obliged to ensure that no technical work is carried out in any area unless there is proper supervision or permission given by the Technical Manger or Head of Operations and that the touring company work within any relevant guidelines set out in the safe working procedures and risk assessments. We reserve the right to roster staff additional to your requirement if we judge that the staffing levels requested do not meet minimum safety requirements for any technical works planned or occurring.
