1 of rev.. 7 Segment LED Module CB-35 Overview The CB-35 device is an, 8-digit 7-segment display. Each segment can be individually addressed and updated separately using a 2 wire I²C interface. Only one external resistor (RSET) is required to set the current. LED brightness can be controlled by analog or digital means. The device include an integrated BCD code-b/hex decoder, multiplex scan circuitry, segment and display drivers, and a 64-bit memory. Internal memory stores the shift register settings, eliminating the need for continuous device reprogramming. 3 3 of rev.. Configuration The I²C serial method requires only two pins for communication SDA (serial data) and SCL (serial clock). The default slave address is factory-set to. The Last bit of the address byte (R/W) define the operation to be performed. When set to a a read operation is selected, when set to a a write operation is selected.
