With the main library Zanklhof and the media library Mediathek, six branch offices, the Book Mobile and the delivery service, you will always have access to a library service near you! Our rich collection of books and media, which we constantly update and expand, can be accessed at: In our online library you can research and reserve media, get information on the latest acquisitions, subscribe to our RSS feeds, download e-media, check your library user account, extend your due dates, register for events and much more. The Graz libraries provide many interesting activities and services for senior citizens. The children's library LABUKA offers entertaining and exciting events on books and interesting topics as well as reading activities for children aged 2 to 13 years, free of charge and almost every day.

The registration form can be downloaded at: Borrowing and ordering: Your library card gives you access to everything we have to offer: visit the municipal libraries, call us at or browse our website at: Fees: The annual fee is 15 for adults (or 7.50 for six months or 2 for a single borrowing). Graz SozialCard- and Kulturpass-holders pay a reduced fee of 10 per year (or 5 for six months). No fees for children and young adults up to the age of 18 years! You may use all media free of charge and without reservations at the libraries during open hours.

As a member of the municipal library, you may order your media and have them conveniently delivered to the post office nearest to you, where you can also return them (for an additional annual charge of 10 for adults). In addition, you may also have the books and media delivered to your home address if you re imburse the resultant postal charges. For library members with documented limited mobility the home delivery service is free of charge. The stops are located on the outskirts of the city or near (primary) schools.
