3 BOOKS RECEIVED ERHALTENE BÜCHER LIVRES REÇUS Call for Papers The 2002 annual meeting of the European Public Choice Society will be organized under the auspices of the Department of Public Policy and Public Choice (POLIS) of the University of Eastern Piedmont «Amedeo Avogadro». It will be held from 4 to 7 April 2002 at the Hotel Villa Carlotta Belgirate (VCO) Lago Maggiore Italy. The European Public Choice Society promotes scientific research on the economics and politics of public and non-market decision-making, political economy and the economics of institutions. Submission of papers broadly consistent with these aims is encouraged and should be made via (preferably) or post; fax will not be accepted. Format should be doc, pdf, dvi or ps. Papers must be received no later than December 17, 2001 by the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee: Professor Mario Ferrero Department of Public Policy and Public Choice POLIS Corso Borsalino, Alessandria Italy epcs@unipmn.it In the 2002 meeting every accepted paper to be presented at sessions will be assigned a discussant. As a condition for acceptance of papers, every presenter will have to undertake a commitment to serve, if required, as discussant of another paper in his/her field of research. Name(s) of Author(s) with the name of the person presenting the paper followed by an asterisk (*) 4. Institutional affiliation of author(s), with complete mailing address and of the presenter 5. Abstract of the paper 6. JEL codes ( journal/elclasjn.html) 7. Up to five keywords 8. Statement of option to be included in a poster session instead of regular sessions, if appropriate 9. If the paper is to be considered for the Wicksell Prize Competition, this should be esplicitly stated, with information on the age of applicant(s) as of December 17, If the paper is co-authored, the age of all authors should be stated Decisions on acceptance of submitted papers will be communicated no later than January 31, Registration should be completed before February 28, Further information about the conference including procedures for registration will be available in due course on the conference website.
