The rapid swirl of energies approaching 2012 seem to have caught us lately in a 6 weeks change over and... this will even go faster! Ask yourself, what has changed in my life/in me in the past 6 weeks? How have I evolved? What circumstances have I manifested that lead me to change? What have I integrated in my personal growth? In one of the Mayan calendars, we are now in the circle of Truth & Integrity that will sometime in 2011 step into the circle of Co-creation. How can we possibly co-create a new consciousness without going first through that essential stage of Truth and Integrity? For those who walk their talk they booming into self-confidence, respect and love. Happiness and inner Peace are definitely on their path. For those who keep choosing to lie and hide the truth, they are and will be constantly stumbling across potholes onto their path and feel stressed, very unstable and lost. The people they meet, the work challenges they come across are the reflection of their own lack of integrity. Soon, some will become more aware that change is inevitable for their own sake and sanity. Those choosing to ignore those signs will rapidly get lost in despair. From now on, start looking at the new people appearing in your lives as shining lights. They have a message for you. In life, everything is a choice what do you choose? to grasp their helping hand or to let this chance of growth go past? Ask and you shall receive! What do you really want? Think big, think of who you want to BE, what you wish to ACHIEVE. Keep your focus and definitely keep track of your progress. Think BIG, dare dreaming! First you fill in the free LIFE QUIZ available through my book Your first easy steps to Feng Shui 2nd edition OR through my website steps.com With the quiz, you allocate points and find out the weakest sector of your life. You then prepare your personal affirmations, write them on the back of the page prepared for your collage, sign your promises; then with your intents (affirmations) in mind, open one magazine of the pile of magazines you have prepared for this collage. There, on one of the 2 open pages, cut what is appealing to you. Repeat this process using each time another magazine. When you have enough pictures, glue them on. Display your collage near your bed head for the next 9 weeks maximum and see all these symbols and messages appearing into your life. What appears there is what the universe has in stock for you, what you are ready to receive! A VISION BOARD consists of putting pictures of what you want. The process is totally different and does not use your intuition. Surround yourself with simplicity, comfort and beauty. Welcome mainly people, events and items that inspire you. Waking up in a happy environment kick starts your day. Living the present moment to its fullest, creates your happy future. Walk your talk and inspire others! 2 Mimi Spirits Who are they? - Yesterday, in the morning, on the veranda. - What? I asked. - Mimis replied Lyzz, Little spirit shapes full of mischief. - Are they Aboriginal - like you? - No, they are Australian. - Show me. - OK, next time I visit you; your house is full of them. Two quotes cut from... Mimi_(folklore)... They are like humans but they live in a different dimension... "Gusty, raunchy, vivacious spirits of nature, known as the Mimi Spirits, taught sexuality to the Aborigines in all its diverse forms." Lyzz did show me and that started my study of Mimis. That was ten years ago. I guess there are two rules about Mimis: 1. They are shape shifters. 2. They are mostly found in places where earth energies leak out from the ground. Mimis live together with people, mixing themselves in with their lives. Boredom is their problem and they will create mischief and in fact do almost anything to keep themselves occupied. You can almost hear them saying, Let s get Steven to lose his car keys. So when I pout down the keys they cloud over my mind. In minutes I forget where I put them. So I start looking, and look and look....gee that s fun, he s swearing - that s great. Mimis are not quite Gnomes. Lyzz was right, they are Australian. They live above ground in energy streams. Gnomes live underground and find it hard to manifest above ground. Gnomes hate light, Mimis don t seem to mind at all. They are not quite Elves of Fairies either, and I ve never sensed them anywhere else in the world. Like Gnomes, Mimis love to play with children and household pets. Mimis are shape shifters, that s one way they play their games. Did he say he was scared of hairy ghosts? We ll pile together and make him one, and when he goes to bed tonight... Or they can make themselves into dark and evil beings, or cute little fairy babies. May Gibbs with her cute Gumnut Babies and evil Banksia Men linked a generation of Australian children to their neighbourhood Mimis. Canberra has lots of escaping ground energies. They are usually strongest in the in the Woden area and weakest in the newer parts of Gungahlin. Perhaps one in three houses has significant ground energy flow. Maybe your house too? Steven Guth Our Canberra house is Mimi infested (is that the right word?) Perhaps we are living on an old high energy Aboriginal site. Our Mimis may have been sharing our space with humans for thousands upon thousands of years. They seem to like interacting with people, which maybe why I can almost hear them speak. The previous owners of our house drank lots; there was much social drinking with a private bar and a dance floor. Yes, they can influence people to do that or to take drugs, or to argue. Anything, moral or immoral, to create activity and stop boredom. With help we have got them to do useful things - to look after our pet dogs, tell us when plants need watering and play with the four children that live in the house. Just before sunset is silly time when the kids race around the corridors with a flock of Mimis running and dancing alongside. The Mimis like story time too, books are a puzzle and of course they can t read. May Gibbs must have been popular bed time reading. For me, de-clutter started within! I welcome this process every single day of my life, the part of Feng Shui where I like to begin. 4 Infected for Better or Worse? Chi is energy. Everything is energy. You know good energy, fun energy, times when life has been grand and danced along happily, and times when it has been gross, difficult, up to your neck it seems in muck and bullets, challenges up the yinyang (yin and yang, we get back to that later.). Good energy is light and moves quickly, bad energy is heavy and slow moving. If you doubt me, consider this: have you ever been so sad you thought you would never be happy again? So miserable you felt stuck? Conversely, during a really happy, good time did you ever, even for a second, feel stuck happy? You know about infection, right? Winter is coming (in the UK), sneezes catapult germs around and this year in particular we are worrying about swine flu and the jab (maybe). That s bad energy infection - Sha Chi, the not-so-good stuff. Does it always have to be bad, what about good infection, is that possible? Can we be contagious for better or worse? Yin and Yang. Again, simple, a very easy concept you re totally familiar with, shown here in the well known black and white symbol that represents light and dark, good and bad, male and female, up and down, in and out.. it goes on indefinitely because we live in a world of duality. In fact, there is no such thing as dark, there is only absence of light. Bring in light and dark doesn t exist. We recognize this because we know that. Bring in good, bad doesn t exist. Think about it, when you look up where s down? Not up there, or is it? Look at a male, where s the female? Not there? Look closer. Within each is the other. As the Yin and Yang symbol shows us, within black there is white, within the large there is small. What you cannot see from first glance at the symbol is that Yin and Yang is not flat or static but spinning full of energy, in perpetual motion and difficult to hold. Forever the same and always changing - ever thought your life was like that? Me too! Chi is in all things, animate and inanimate: it is all things: it is life energy as we know it. Tai Chi, good energy, meanders and flows freely, it lifts and dances, it feels good. It is every bit as infectious as Sha Chi. Listen to a baby chuckling as they marvel at their world and you ll be infected by the Tai Chi flowing through them. Your energy will lift as you catch their happiness, you will probably laugh along with them. It is actually hard not to! That s good contagion, and because it s not talked about too much in the media, it s easy to forget. Being infected with the good stuff is every bit as easy as being infected with the bad, you just have to know where to find it. Be(a)ware of the bad energy and what will you find? Can you be infected with good if you re watching closely for bad? Maybe - look closer and you will find the blessing. Alternatively pull back and shift your focus completely. The opposite is always present. A humming bird and a vulture: the dessert supports them both. One continually searches for beautiful desert flowers to drink deeply on nectar. The other has laser focus on rotting corpses so he can suck the bones dry. Neither sees what the other sees and they both find what they seek. Viv Lambert U.K. What s infecting you? 5 Australian Wildlife Wisdom Cards PRAYING MANTAS Universal Code Trevor & Susan O Sullivan Australia A saintly poise gives Praying Mantas her name, but not her nature. It would seem that Praying Mantas was given her name based on her reverence and poise. To catch a glimpse of this silent individual poised on a leaf, it would seem as if she is actually praying. Sitting with her two front legs together, rising toward her head as if to resemble a saintly moment of prayer. Don t be fooled by her stillness or reverence, for when a trusting bug steps within striking distance, her heavenly poise turns into a deadly strike. Praying Mantas has front legs that are endowed with interlocking spines. Once captured, her prey will not stand a chance. Her once solemn figure has developed legs of steel to lock her prey within her grasp. Her victim cannot escape these deadly spines and her appetite is sated. When choosing a mate, together forever is not on the agenda for Praying Mantas. The female is the larger of the two in this fateful union. She is much bigger than the male and she calls the shots to determine the outcome of this mating game. For the male, it is a fatal attraction that will spell the end of his earth walk. Once our female accepts her beau and copulates, she promptly kills and devours him entirely, sated once more. Towards humankind on the other hand, Praying Mantas is harmless in her nature. Her many species continue to fascinate our enquiring minds and there is a variety of species to match every terrain. Praying Mantas is fashioned to blend perfectly to her chosen back drop. No matter what part of the country she is to be seen, she has adapted to camouflage her solemn figure, almost invisible to some as she sits motionless awaiting her next meal. In her stillness and silence, Praying Mantas has been known to incite fear into the hearts of children and adults alike. She is an adequate flying machine and she will often mistake a passer by for a tree or a bush and land softly upon them to sit motionless once again. When noticed, she is hurriedly brushed away in fear. She can be up to 300mm in length and with wings outstretched; she can almost resemble a tiny flying dragon. If Praying Mantas has landed on you today through the cards, she has come to bring your attention to the universal codes. I have been the silent observer of mankind for eons. Every species of man or beast has an unwritten code to live by. I would wish for you to be mindful of our differences. To take my pleasures and devour my mate is my code, but your code works differently to mine. Praying Mantas asks Have you become like me? Are you casually taking your pleasures and then destroying the bringer of that joy? Consuming others energy with no regard for their wellbeing? Perhaps it is time to consider the feelings of others more in your daily earth walk. She warns. Or perhaps Praying Mantas medicine brings your awareness to a different question. Is your energy being consumed by another without care or concern. Are you surrendering your power to another? If so, take heed to call your strength back to you and become one once more. Perhaps you have been receiving without giving or giving without receiving. If so, it is time to find a balance once more. To lure another with less than saintly motives, will only spell disaster as the universal codes play out and the karmic wheel turns. But to surrender your power and become powerless on your journey spells the equivalent disaster. Praying Mantas medicine says Stand empowered on your earth walk but allow others to do the same. Mankind is governed by the law of cause and effect (Karma). I have come to bring this to your attention in case you have forgotten the importance of living by your guiding human code. If you feel life is treating you unfairly, undervaluing you or keeping you down, remember nothing goes unnoticed within the laws of the universe. Correct the choices you have made and give as you would wish to receive then watch as the universe responds to your gifts. Offer of yourself not as a means to an end, but as a means to set yourself and all others free. When you remember to ask for guidance it appears just as Praying Mantas has done for you today. She reminds you of the gift of giving and receiving in balance as nature intended. Praying Mantas adds Learn from my imbalance. My masculine journey is a selfless one, my feminine, self-full. You find an article in a magazine, you listen to a speaker, your read a book, you follow the tips and get your first results. Then one day you are ready to learn more! Four years ago I promised myself that I would do the course, just a shame that it took so long to actually commit. As a licensed real estate agent, I always knew that the course would benefit me with my new found extra knowledge to pass onto my clients. My oh my, I had no idea just how much MORE that I would learn. I can honestly say that I experienced an under surface bubbling feeling of excitement that moved me to tears on several occasions. 7 The Creative Harmony Welcome Journey Let me share As we transition from our individual daily experience, and gather as a group to explore the value of our lives more deeply, a wave of calm and trust washes over us and we begin to connect with each other on that frequency. The tone and the language reflects a humble sharing of peaceful awareness and each one of us shifts to a space of surrender and anticipation of new learning and acceptance of what is. Our preferred ritual unfolds with deliberate movement through set spaces. Upon entering our home, you are guided through the g a t e h o u s e which is a filter between the outside world and our internal sanctuary. As you pass through the gate there is a compass that subconsciously allows for confirmation and clarity of the direction you will pursue while visiting with us. A solid path winds a distance to our front door, and is softened on either side by scented, textured and seasonal as well as permanent plantings - some having assumed pride of place in the ever changing landscape, while others providing the perfect compliment in their own perfect scale. Below to the left of the path comes into view a magnificent reflection pond. This becomes the venue for an amazing chorus of a variety of wildlife when it rains and also facilitates a cleansing of all the energies that choose to enter. To the right there appears an expansive curiosity of raked paths and clearing inviting you to a choice of experiences and awakenings by stimulating all the senses as you progress through the garden one step at a time. Everyone gathers in our kitchen, you share in a light supper (an intentional investment in the broader experience of their time here) nourishing the soul and thereby enhancing your potential to be open, to give and receive. We are only 20 minutes into this collective sharing and already we have gained so much more than you might have imagined New friendships are created and existing relationships are redefined, as we surrender our written gratitude into the singing bowl, and we move out feeling very nurtured to our studio for our formal sharing to begin. 8 Can Someone s Clutter turn into Someone else s Treasure Who does not enjoy browsing in pre loved shops in search for a good bargain? Keep in mind that the 2 nd hand goods are carrying subtle energies, storing memories of their previous owners, their moods, their vibrations, their energies, their laughter, their joy too of course! Displaying pre-loved items in your home will have an impact on your life; so follow these suggestions to take essential precautions. Mirrors To my understanding and my perception, and having visited and consulted so many houses over the past 17 years, I can tell you that mirrors are real gateways to spirits. They also act like sponges and keep in mind all what happened in their vicinity. This is one of the reasons why having mirrors in a bedroom (new or old mirrors) can be disturbing your sleep, having babies waking up at night crying for no obvious reason. Do you have a mirror reflecting your body when laying in bed? It is recommended to cover it during your rest. Mirror As New -> Need to be perfectly flat and levelled any distorted mirror will reflect a distorted view of your persona. Tiled mirrors can only cut you into pieces and could have a subtle impact on the reason why you are loosing self-confidence. Mirror Second Hand -> Has to be cleansed thoroughly to remove as much as possible from its past memories. Two steps are essential: Step 1 - Use cleaning product (e.g. Windex) OR a few drops of vinegar and salted water + paper towel to give a sparkle AND make sure that you add your intent of cleansing all memories from this newly bought item. Step 2 - Put the mirror outside on your lawn facing up during the full moon to remove any old energy. Furniture Inherited wooden furniture, vintage and antique items also have their own stories and past memories. Clean the wood with professional products adding your intent of clearing the vibes and energies of the previous owners. Whenever possible, put outside overnight in the full moon if too heavy to move out, repeat the first clearing suggestion for 9 consecutive weeks (one day a week). Jewellery A dear friend of mine offered me a gorgeous real pearl necklace over 100 years old that she had received herself from an old and dear friend. As soon as I put it around my neck to show her how good it looked on me, I felt strangled. To avoid hurting her feelings, I did not mention anything about this incident but simply asked what had happened to her friend. She was a sad lady who went though tough times in concentration camps during the 2 nd World War. Her life sadness was carried in the pearls. I decided to cleanse this necklace several times during Roseline Deleu Worldwide the full moons with respect of who she was and what she had lived. Today I wear it proudly for special occasions without feeling any negative effects and feeling very special to have such a valuable item from someone who I now better understand, respect and honour. Clothes To get rid of the energies stored in second hand clothes, simply wash them before wearing. Buying leather or suede clothes are more difficult to cleanse as perspiration together with memories cannot be washed out; put those items regularly in the full moon. Decorative items Only display in your home items in perfect condition. Avoid buying craft goods without knowing the mission that the craftsman gave to them by this I mean warrior masks, African amulets and assimilated. I recall a story of a lady whose boy friend avoided sleeping at her place. Checking her bedroom she had displayed on each side of the bed two large PNG warrior masks that were protecting her they did their job! When she removed them, he finally made up his mind and moved in within that week. Now, feel and have another look at the items displayed in your home; what do they remind you of? Do you feel happy with each of them or is it time to prepare a bag and drop some at the Charity shop? Enjoy! Page 8
