1 Uglies Journal Responses ver the break, you will finish reading Parts and of Uglies. pproximately every 30 pages, you will write a response to what you have read. There are suggestions (prompts) below for your responses. You cannot repeat journal prompts. Your responses need to be at least a paragraph in length and uses specific references from the book. Please read the section, then write the response. Do not read the whole book and go back and write the responses. Due: January 23rd Please deposit your response in the folder shared with you before class on January 23rd. Each journal entry should include the section and the prompt (see example below). First of all, her sister Primose is having very bad dreams, so she goes over to her mom s bed. econd, at the Reaping, Primose is chosen from over one thousand tickets to go to the Hunger Games, a reality show where kids are chosen to kill each other. Then, she has to volunteer her own life in order to save her sister. Third, from all the boys between the ages of 12-1, Peeta Mellark, the boy who saved her family s life and her life, is chosen as the other tribute to be taken to the Hunger Games. Finally, there is a man named Haymitch, who is a drunk, is basically Katniss s string between life and death! s she says in the book, the odds are completely against her favor!
