All movie schedules in South Africa (Sterkinekor, NuMetro and imax) Short excepts on movie detail New Releases The objective of MovieMobile is to make it as easy as possible for you to decide what movie you want to see, when and where. 2. How to use MovieMobile When you are using MovieMobile for the first time you will be prompted to select a province: After selecting a province, you will be prompted to select a region within that province: MovieMobile Page 1 of 7

After MovieMobile has determined in which region you are, the main menu will be displayed. If you want to search for a movie select Find Movie from the main menu.

(Intelli-Locate is not applicable on cinema searching) If you want to see which new releases are showing, select New Releases from the main menu.

If you want to search for a cinema (country wide), select Find Cinema from the main menu. (Intelli-Locate is not applicable on cinema searching) If you want to see which new releases are showing, select New Releases from the main menu. (New Releases are the movies that are being screened for the very first time not official release date of the movie) If you want to select another location, select Change My Location from the main menu. 3. What is Intelli-Locate? When using MovieMobile for the first time you will be asked to select your province and your region. The region you selected will be remembered each time you use MovieMobile. For example if you choose Gauteng > Pretoria, you will be able to search for movies in Pretoria and browse all the schedules in Pretoria. If you are in another region and you want to use MovieMobile for that region, just change your location (by selecting Change My Location ) from the main menu. MovieMobile will remember the new location. 4. Searching for movies When searching for a movie you will be prompted to enter the name (or part thereof) of the movie or a keyword (like drama, romantic, thriller etc) After entering the search word, a list of movies (matches) will be displayed including the cinema where it is showing. By default, today s date is selected. If you want to change the date send 04 instead of choosing a movie. A list of available dates will be displayed from which you can choose. After selecting the date, the list of movies will be displayed again. When selecting the movie of your choice, all the starting times for that movie, on the specified date at the specified cinema, will be displayed. Sending 04 from this screen, will display a short description of the movie. And when viewing the short description for the movie you can send 01 to go back to the starting times. 6. Searching for Cinemas If you are looking for a specific cinema, and you don t know in which region it is, you can search for that cinema by selecting Find cinema from the main menu. You will be prompted to enter the name of the cinema (or part thereof). A list of all the cinema matches will be displayed. When selecting the cinema of your choice, today s date is chosen by default. A list of the movies at the selected cinema for the selected date will be displayed. If you want to change the date send 04 instead of selecting a movie. A list of all the available dates will be returned. Select a date and the movies will be displayed again. After you selected the movie of your choice the starting times for the selected date will be displayed. Sending 04 from this screen will display a short description on the movie Sending 01 when viewing the description of the movie will take you back to the starting times of the movie. 6 7. Browsing the movie schedule If you want to browse the cinemas in your region, select Schedule from the main menu. A list of all the cinemas in your region will be displayed (indicating whether they are Ster Kinekor, Nu Metro or imax). Sending 05 instead of selecting a movie will display more cinemas in your region (if there are) and sending 02 will display the previous cinemas (if you have sent 05 to view more cinemas). After selecting the cinema, today s date is chosen as the default date. Sending 04 when viewing the movies will display a list of available dates. Sending 01 will not choose another date, but take you back to the movies currently showing. Sending 05 will display more movies (if there are more movies available). Sending 02 will display the previous movies (if 05 was sent to view more movies). After selecting a movie the starting times for that movie on the selected date (at the selected cinema) will be showed. Sending 04 from this screen will display the short description of the movie. Sending 01 from this screen will take you back to the starting times of the movie. 8. New Releases When you want to see which movies are the new releases, select New Releases from the main menu. These new releases are the movies that are being screened for the first time in South Africa (be it a private screening or a once off screening). These new releases will not necessarily correspond with the official release date of the movie. After selecting the New Releases from the main menu, a list of all the new releases for the current week will be displayed. If there s more New Releases available send 05 to view them. Sending 02 will display the previous New Releases (if 05 was sent before to view more New Releases ). When you have selected the movie, a list of all the provinces where this movie is being screened (for the current week) will be displayed. Just like the provinces, after selecting the province, all the regions in that province where the movie is being screened (in the current week) will be displayed. After selecting the region, all the dates that the movie are being screened on, will be displayed. will display all the starting times of that movie at the selected cinema on the selected date. Sending 04 from the starting times screen will display a short description of the movie. Sending 01 from the description screen will display the starting times again. MovieMobile Page 6 of 7

7 9. Change My Location In the event of you wanting to view the schedules, or search in another region, select Change My Location from the main menu. A list of all the provinces will be displayed. Select your desired province. A list of all the regions within that province will be displayed. Select a region. The main menu will be displayed, and Movie Mobile will know (and remember) in which region you are.
