Through the celebration of the musical and theatrical arts and their enlightening reflection of the human condition Skylight strives to make a difference. Skylight Opera Theatre, now in its 53rd year, is proud to own and operate the Broadway Theatre Center. Located in Milwaukee s Historic Third Ward since 1993, it is also home to Milwaukee Chamber Theatre and Renaissance Theaterworks. It houses administrative offices for Bel Canto Chorus, Milwaukee Children s Choir and Present Music. Within the Theatre Center s modern exterior is Milwaukee s hidden jewel, the Cabot Theatre. The 358-seat Cabot is a replica of an 18th century European opera house, complete with intimate seating, an ornate chandelier, and an awe-inspiring ceiling mural of historic Milwaukee scenes and people. The Theatre Center also houses the 99-seat Studio Theatre, a versatile black box space.
